Great product for basketball.
Overall very satisfied with the product. It's way more convenient and more effective than athletic tape. The brace is comfortable to wear. It takes about 30min of regular sports activity to get used to when you first put them on. It is stable as well and does it's job at preventing those lateral rolls of the ankle that will make your foot stiff and uncomfortable for a couple days. Just like ALL ankle braces, it probably won't prevent a severe sprain (like landing on it really wrong and getting stepped on by a 250lb dude) but it will certainly lessen the injury. The brace also is pretty flexible and allows your ankle to maintain a good range and motion and flexion. I haven't seen a noticable reduction in athleticism (especially vertical jump) when wearing the brace like I've seen in other braces. Some braces are so stiff your vertical will go down by 2 inches bc your ankle can't properly flex. This brace allows that needed ankle flexion while still supporting it. I bet my vertical only went down maybe half an inch, but that's just the price you pay when wearing a brace, which is honestly worth it. Of course, I can still run and slide very well when wearing the brace. Honestly, I may even be able to change directions quicker when wearing the brace bc my ankles wont over rotate. Overall, great product and I highly recommend basketball players getting a pair bc there's so many uncontrollable variables like feet and slick spots that can cause you to roll an ankle.

One of the most minimal but great able protection.
I been using SpeedWrap for quite some times. It’s one of the most minimal ankle braces which do provide good support when you needed. The size chart is true to your shoe size.*If your feet size is in between, both size will work. I tried both L and XL. What I found was the smaller size, the top strap can grate your shoe collar and damage it. If you want to avoid that, pick the larger one.

Excellent
I severely sprained tendons on both sides of one ankle this spring. After two months of being sidelined I was ready to play again. I got an Aircast brace from the doctor that was too clunky to play in. I bought a Mueller lace-up ankle brace made specifically for soccer & it works great, except the inner material is slightly abrasive. It's fine if I wear a sock under the brace, but with soccer I usually have the brace against the skin. The Mueller also fell apart after one cycle in the washer. I finally bought this Adizero brace and the fit is tight, but comfortable. It feels supportive without limiting my range of motion. It's been through the was 10 times & doesn't have any signs of wear & tear. I have size 13 feet & they're slightly on the wide side & my foot barely fits through the opening. Other than that, I think it's great. I would highly recommend it.

meh.
This brace depends on a high top shoe to provide additional support and even then, it doesn't lock down all potential injurious movements. You can still twist your ankle at certain angles with this brace on. The brace is better suited for low grade support, but not for injury prevention.

perfect for my son in his basketball shoes
perfect for my son in his basketball shoes, was streamlined enough to fit inside his shoes, he had a bad sprain and we used this brace once he healed from the original brace in the ER but still needed support

If you have wide feet or ankles, you need to purchase one size bigger than the chart shows!!!
I must have relatively wide feet and beefy ankles, because the Large size was definitely too small. (could barely even get it over my foot at all) even though I have Size 11 feet. So if you have slim feet or ankles, then maybe the sizing works. But if you have wide feet, and/or thicker ankles, you definitely should get one size up from what the chart shows. (the velcro allows you to tighten the top a lot as needed anyway.)
