This is a perfect alternative to a doggy door. I used a staple gun instead of the Velcro strips in case I needed to move it. It significantly limits the amount of hot and cold air from entering the house.

This exceeded expectations (Velcro to hold it was a bit of a problem but very well could have been due to my old crappy paint around the door). Put on storm door on back porch last winter and IMMEDIATE improvement and not just a little. Durable and works super well. Closes as it should. Good buy

Works well. Worked for us over the cold months, started falling down at the end but will use different method for hanging next year. Overall would but again and recommend.

Helped decrease my draft problem, but it did start to fall apart at the seems as I was installing it. This hasn't affected the efficiency.

This was easy to install, and included optional brads to affix the Velcro strip that holds the curtain up; instead of sticking it up with the adhesive on the back. I didn’t want to put it up with adhesive, because I have a fairly recent paint job. The magnets are strong, and curtain has never failed to close on its own. They are so strong that in fact I use a clothespin so I can open it a little easier. I use this to keep the heat in my family room, and plan to use it this summer to keep the cool in. Overall it’s well built and should work well for years to come.

All I can say is I told myself that this is probably a piece of garbage that is going to take a lot of monkeying around to get it to work at all if at all.Well.It does smell bad like styrene. But it outbgasses quickly.The roll of velcro tape is enough to do the sides and the stickiness is great.The roll for the top transom piece is wide and strong.I kept looking for faults.TOO LONG.... ha. Well I'm the idiot that didn't measure rightThe magnet is gonna be weak. They are pretty good. No they aren't Los Alamos Nuclear Lab strong but they sure aren't dinky fridge magnets either.The material is strong and doesn't let air through. The magnets seal up tight.After installing it I was shocked to see it bulging like it was 3 months pregnant. The air intrusion from the crap door install was puffing it out and it held and the magnets held.The extra long piece I just tucked under the landing rug where the door is located.A plus all around.

This will work perfectly outside, but simply will not stay up if you try to install it inside (like say, bc you have a homeowner’s association that doesn’t allow things on the outside). I tried zip tying to the door, additional Velcro, etc…. The problem is: it hangs & triggers the garage door “laser eye” & makes the door go back up.Again - great for on the outside of the door. NOT inside.
