Very disappointed-advertised as able to follow a conversation right away but there is a 5 second lag and often the translation is totally wrong. very unhappy with this

more expensive than many amazon offerings, THESE are the ones you want, though. No chinese spyware to install, these work out of the box and responsive to provide instant translations. I've tried other cheaper offerings, which are all a serious pain to keep them operating like you need

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been wearing these every day since December 2024. They are much larger than I expected. The biggest problem is I can't figure out where to touch the earbuds for volume control, or to answer a phone call or to even turn them off. If my mobile phone is not in my hand to change the volume or to answer the call, it's not happening. They frequently go on stand-by on its own. Several times I have to turn off my wi-fi connection and speak straight into my phone so people can understand what I am saying. I would not buy these again. I am very disappointed in this product. Mexico Spanish translation is lacking more than 5% that is the only one ive used. It cant keep up with a conversation. Comfort wise excellent. Case is nice and always keeps them charged. Great for music.

My partner uses them and loves them

It’s a nice idea, no totally there yet. It only works well if two people are each wearing one ear bud. I hoped I could use it to translate teachers or group conversations but it hasn’t worked well for that yet.I like the fit of the ear buds, they are comfortable. The sound quality is good. I used them as regular earbuds too.I was disappointed to learn that not all languages can do the free talk mode. I knew only a few languages could do the offline mode but I’m frustrated that most of the languages I want don’t allow free talk mode. I wish that had been properly advertised, I felt a little tricked.The AI is pretty good if you go slow enough. I was hoping it would help me understand group conversations with my family but it really needs one on one and fairly slow.I’m keeping it because I like the earbuds and it’s helpful in testing out my accent. I like seeing if I’m pronouncing the phrases well enough the AI can pick it up. I hope the technology gets better with time, this could be great.One thing to consider is if what you are translating is purely one language, or if in that region the locals speak a mix. An example is my family speaks a mix of Urdu and Punjabi. The app has both languages but you can only use one at a time.

My main concern was accuracy, and these earbuds didn't disappoint! They were easy to install, and they're very comfortable! I definitely recommend these buds if you want to learn a new language!
