It works great with helping curb my addiction. I'm stronger at certain times of the day and this helps me stick to my goal. I feel like this is going to be the game changer. The timer is set up like, days/hours/minutes and the settings include one without a timer and one with. Both of which can be opened with a code. I quickly learned that I was going to need to use this in Fortress Mode. This is a timed mode that cannot be opened at all until the time runs out. If you happen to have an emergency while in Fortress, you have to contact their customer service which takes 24 hrs to respond. So only use that if you are serious. It has an opening hole for charging your phone, but other than that, you will not be able to touch anything you put inside this box. It also came with a QR code to register with the company for a lifetime warranty! So you really have nothing to lose trying this out. They have several other locking type boxes if this model isn't for you.

I wish I got the bigger version. This box looks great, the time and fortress mode are so useful. You CANNOT open the box until the timer runs out. The plastic is way thicker and heavier than the pictures make it book The smaller version is great for one cellphone with a slim case. I will be buying the larger one to help me quit vaping as they don’t fit in the smaller box. 11/10 I recommend this to everyone with impulse control issues.

I just got this and so far it’s great & super easy to use. I have ADHD so Ive used it to lock myself out of my phone for 20 minutes at a time because otherwise I never would on my own. I lock it for hours at bedtime so I’m forced to go to sleep and that works! Siri still works while the phone is locked in there so if I have to call 911 or ask Siri to read a messages or call someone I still can so I don’t worry about an emergency situation. Now I’m gonna go on a walk today and I won’t be staring at my phone but can still have messages read to me and be able to respond if needed. When I made a phone call I was told they couldn’t tell the phone was locked in a box. This way, I can also focus on who I’m talking to without playing with my phone at the same time which means I miss things that they say. I look at my phone in the morning and then lock it back up so that I’m not on it first thing in the morning for an extended period of time. This thing is really helping me so far. This morning I was listening to my Bible app and then I would lock it in there for five minutes so I will be forced to focus. I’m also gonna do that with my meditation.I love and recommend this product. I’m may even get a second one.

I bought one of the Mindsight lockboxes a few months back and it is by far the best one I’ve tried. The last time I answered the requested survey I said I’d like to see the box include a plug-in option; I’m always worried that the batteries will die while the box is locked and then what would I do?Shopping for things to take on my 2-week vacation to Hawaii this personal size box popped up as something I may be interested in. I didn’t know I needed a smaller box, but I’m glad I clicked the ad.This small version took up a lot less room in my luggage than the original, and there’s a plug-in option! Win-win!Final word: I ordered the first one reading the reviews about it being too easy to break in to. Why would you try? The box is purchased to keep us on track with *whatever*. Breaking into it is counterintuitive, to say the least. I DID have to send for an emergency override code when I accidentally set it for 14 days instead of 14 hours. The response was within a few hours, then I double deleted the email because I didn’t want to be able to get into it. The technology in this smaller box solves for that because the override code only works once.Since I’d requested a plug-in option when I posted my review of the regular size box and this one has that, I’m inclined to believe the company listens to its customers. That is something hard to find and I know we all value that.

Had to cut it open with a saw since it would not unlock even after the timer ran out and receiving an unlock code from support. Too bad too since it was nice when it was working.

Great for trying to quit smoking. However, timer in mine stopped working after about a month. Everything else worked but the timer wasn't counting down anymore. I figured, since I needed a new one anyways, I would get the bigger one this time. Contacted support and they 100% made it right. Gave me a FULL refund on the one that broke and made sure I got the upgrade no problem. These ARE really well made. Seemed more like a technical glitch than a design flaw and support was top notch about making it right.If you use this to quit vaping, I HIGHLY recommend getting the bigger one for a few more bucks. Many vapes are slightly too big to fit in this one.

This little box works great to keep me from absent-mindedly messing with my phone during the day.

I mean, it's a super defeatable lock box, so self control matters, fortress mode is cool but I just needed a box to keep my vape locked away. Once I started locking up my vape for 30 minutes, it dawned on me, I puff on the thing like every 10 minutes.... That is enough for me to start regulating again. My habit is so deeply engrained that cold-turkey isn't an option.Even at 30 minutes I apparently get hand tremors, this tool has helped me realize the depth of my addiction, which has been a most invaluable tool...Remember, the easiest habit to quit is one you never start, but if you messed up and want out, this lock box is great. Setting a time for 30 minutes and seeing it say 20 min to go has been a wake up call for sure.Now I tend to set it longer and come back wondering how long it sat unlocked before I noticed... 1 minute? 20 minutes? Either way, super motivating to see I ran out the clock without checking the timer till it ended. THAT'S PROGRESS!
