4pc Panasonic AA Batteries Super Heavy Duty Power Carbon Zinc Double A Battery 1.5v

Have not used them yet, but will be soon. Panasonic has always been a reliable brand for most everything, so I am not worried about these batteries. The last ones were great.

I bought a new large wall clock for the family room. The instructions recommended not to use Alkaline batteries as they would shorten the life of the battery powered clock's motor. The manufacturer recommended the old fashioned carbon zinc batteries for longer clock motor life. Carbon Zinc batteries are not easy to find anymore, so when I saw the 16 pack on Amazon, I ordered them immediately. These batteries work perfectly, and in my clock, they last about 2 - 3 months before replacement is needed. I would buy these again.

These batteries are preferred for wall clocks, My only concern is that I could not see a date on the batteries or the packaging, and since these have a shorter shelf life than alkaline, that is a concern to know how long they have been sitting on the shelf.

They served the purpose rightfully.

Needed these recommended batteries for a clock (that didn't come supplied), as regular ones kept losing time. So far, they work as they are supposed to and the first one hasn't needed replacing yet - whereas we were changing the wrong batteries out all the time before getting the right ones. Now we know.
