Fantastic been waiting for a while to buy
A bit of a tool nut, saw this demonstrated a few years ago and was impressed. Waited and finally picked one up.Using it is a dream. Easy cuts right on the line using the track. Feels like you have great control while using and ultra safe.Measure and mark, line up the guide and cut. All done quickly. Using one of their dust extractors very little sawdust results from use in the air or on the floor.I have a table saw but wanted something portable for those times I have the table saw set up as a router, to break down larger panels, and for portability when an extremely accurate cut is required. Almost no tear out, clean cuts and as accurate as you could want.Festools are the best I have found in quality and features, the dust control they after is amazing and love the stack ability of the sustainers. All those years in apartments I would have loved this system and been able to do so much more.Highly recommend this to anyone wanting a quality circular saw, and especially those who don't have the space for a table saw. This saw is the bomb!

The big brother to the TS 55. More power. Deeper cut. A gem.
Yes this larger version of my favorite power tool (the TS 55) is one wonderful little unit. Or,.... not so little unit. It works just like the 55 but has a bigger motor and a (this is key) deeper cut. If you want to make straight cuts on your large slabs for live-edge furniture this saw is a true gem. My 55 was struggling on some of these larger pieces and the depth mean I had to flip the slab and nail the location. This bigger saw solves that problem and the longer sled is also fantastic and works with the 55. Now I have two saws and two sleds in different sizes that are interchangeable. I always hate to bite the bullet and plunk down mad stacks on Festool products. However, once they are in my shop I find that I reach for them the most. If you are only cutting plywood look no further than the TS 55. But if you are looking to cut through nearly 3 inch slabs in a single pass with dead-straight cuts buy this saw. Do it... Right now.

Wow, what a great saw.
Cuts like butter in the Festool saw tract. Cuts almost 3” deep. Will make my epoxy table building so much easier.

The reviews are not wrong
I originally bought the shop fox track saw and promptly returned it. It was ok but did not have the accuracy I was looking for. Also the trigger broke and It was stuck in the on position. So needless to say I returned it and bought the Festool TS75. Originally I thought this saw was out of my price range but after I added up all the items for the Shop Fox track saw this only cost me about a hundred and twenty dollars more, which still seems like a lot but actually it isn't when you think about it. The Shop fox does not come with a case, the Festool comes with a case (Systainer). The Shop Fox only has a 6-1/2" blade, the Festool has an 8-1/4" blade. The Shop Fox does not come with track, the Festool comes with a 75" track segment. The Shop Fox smells like cheep plastic and the Festool smells like a new Mercedes (really). After making a few cuts you realize that you can't even compare the two saws, it is just not fair to the Shop Fox. It is like comparing a Yugo and a Porsche, you just can't compare them realistically. I plan to buy more Festool equipment in the future after seeing the quality and precision of this tool. I may have to save a little more but in the end you get what you pay for and you realize the value in that. This is a tool that I thought I would have some use for to discovering I use it a lot. I have even found it invaluable for trueing lumber so that it is dimensionally square, much faster than the jointer. I am sold on Festool after this purchase, simply amazing. It was much more, much better than I every expected.Update: Still love this tool. I bought the CT48 vacuum to go along with this track saw as well as changing out my Hitachi Miter Saw with a Festool Kapex Miter Saw. I am still extremely happy with my purchase. I see myself having these for a lifetime but time will only tell. As for my TS 75, use it a lot. I even made a special table that the top pivots to the floor so I can just run my sheet goods over to so that I don't have to pick them up, the table pivots back to flat with your sheet goods on top for processing. The saw has made working with sheet goods so much more efficient. What used to be a real pain involving multiple people and questionable results on the table saw is now effortless with this track saw. It has effectively replaced my table saw and my jointer as the first step in dimensioning and processing all of my lumber(not just my sheet goods). My next step will probably be to replace my table saw with one that is smaller and portable because while my table saw used to be the center of my workshop is now only taking up room and as we all know space is money and efficiency is king. No, this track saw will not replace my table saw, you still need one of those. But I don't need a large table saw with large outfeed and side table anymore. The TS 75 has effectively changed the thinking and work flow in my work space. This little tool has made a big impact my my shop.

under powered and loud!
I bought this track saw from an other retailer. Over all I am happy, however this saw is under powered. I make butcher block counter tops and cut all my tops with this saw, 2" maple and walnut mostly. The saw has a lot of difficulty with the maple, it gets boged down and the blade begins to wander making the cut not square. I need to make an other pass to square up the cut. Also the saw is very loud. I have a 8 1/4" Makita circular saw that cuts the 2" maple with no problem at all the first time. I wish that Makita would put that saw on a track system! Over all this is a good saw, worth the money, but im disappointed with the power output. When you pay a premium price you expect a premium product.

Best in the business!
The edges that this tool cut were perfect! I was able to build a seamless table top from left over cedar to craft a beautiful patio table and will only use this track saw for future table top projects. The cut was powerful, clean and the plunge depth is controllable and easy to adjust. Hooks up to your festoon dust collection system easily. All in all you cannot go wrong with Festool products. I use the domino joiner all the time (also used on this table)

Festool will not stand behind there product!!
I bought a 75 plunge saw Festool with 75 in trac and a long track to cut long tables with. The first time I used the small track that came with the saw it was not true. I contacted Festool to see if they could help me and they said that they are not able to help me with the track or stand behind it.. beware Festool does not stand behind their expensive product. I guess I'll have to throw the track in the trash and waste $200.
