Better than expected. These candles will light up every day of December

First the good:* This is a neat gift for yourself or someone else. It is so fun to treat yourself to a daily present, getting to light a different candle each day leading up to Christmas.* The little tins they come in are adorable and festive.*The presentation is beautiful. They are in a very solid, nice looking box.Now the bad:* Some of the scents don’t really smell that fabulous.* The scents are very weak and I couldn’t smell some of them even after burning them for hours, and that was with them sitting in the same small room with me.* They are made in China. We can’t get candles in the USA?For the price (currently$56.99), I expected to have slightly higher quality candles. I still might recommend this to someone that likes to burn candles and also loves Christmas.

I LOVE advent calendars, but most of them are cheap, not geared to adults, or too expensive. This one, though, is amazing and hits the right balance in cost and quality! The packaging is lovely. I love the box and how it opens like two little doors. Inside, there are 24 little windows to open and inside each one is a 1.5 oz candle with different scents and with different decorations on the tins. The candles I opened for Days 1 and 2 for this review (because I wanted to save the rest to open in December) smelled great. Very strong scent for each of them (lavender and peony). The candles are bigger than a tea light so they would definitely last for a few hours I think. It is so fun to open up each day on an advent calendar, and this one is PERFECT to give to almost anyone who either loves candles, scents, or festive decor. I think the price is reasonable and the candles seem like quality. Highly recommend!

I love the packaging, especially the small jars. I think the idea of 24 advent candles is wonderful. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the scents.

This is a great idea and would make a unique gift! The box is well made, the candles are well protected with each being surrounded by foam packing. The candles are in little tins and the scent is labeled on them. As is the case with these things, there are some included scents that I don't care for like lavender (this is supposed to be a Christmas scented box, I have never known lavender to be associated with Christmas). The scents though are a personal preference, i don't hold that against any manufacturer! It's soy wax so it should burn nice and clean. I may open more of these early because I don't burn candles daily but we shall see, maybe I'll let it be until December. I do love advent calendars and this one is very well done! Highly recommend! This is a wonderful value with 24 different candle accents!

So cute! Can't wait to give this out as a present but I just might keep it for myself as a way to count down until Christmas. Every candle is individually wrapped and comes with - supposedly - a unique scent.The package is sturdy and really nice - it would make for a great present.
