Great gaming mouse, comfortable, precise and easily configurable with may options to customise.
This is a great gaming mouse and definitely worth the money. It’s comfortable to use and precise. The added 5 extra buttons which feel like they are positioned comfortably for me to use at the side of the mouse are configurable to any keys you want to assign it to. This is perfect for all games as for example I have assigned a button to a key for attack moves in rts games so I don’t have to press tab then click on age of empires to attack move. In left 4 dead I have configured one button to crouch so I can quickly and easily crouch to gain more accuracy with the gun I am shooting.I have had this mouse for 3 months and I have encountered no problems with it so far and it seems durable as the materials used for it doesn’t feel cheap like you would get for some of those gaming mouses around £10.Once plugging in the mouse it installs a tool where you can configure what hotkeys you want on the 5 buttons which is easy to do, it allows any key and I believe can use multiple keys for one of the buttons on the mouse. This is very handy for games which have many hotkeys such as RTS games. You can configure what LED colour you want to emit from the mouse which is aesthetically pleasing and not too bright. You can configure 3 presets of sensitivity which you can change mid game with a press of a button on the mouse. This is useful for when you are in certain situations in a game like for example you may want to drop your sensitivity when your aiming through a scope with a sniper rifle for a more steady and precise aim and you may want to raise your sensitivity when your wanting to run and gun in close combat. To sum it up this gaming mouse is a great quality gaming mouse and it can function as normal office mouse if it wants too and is definitely worth its money. If your unsure on getting this mouse like I was, get it straight away you won’t regret it.

Why pay silly money..?
Fast delivery, well packaged and received undamaged. Having Amazon Prime I ordered this mouse on the Saturday morning and it was delivered on the Sunday..Excellent. Setting up was fast, easy and hassle free, Having had my (£70) Logitek G700 give up on me I was looking for the sam kind of button set up and DPI control for different ingame and media control, I came across this TeckNet M009. It seemed to look the same had roughly the same button lay out and shape as the Logitek at a much, much lower price, the only difference I could see was it wasn't wireless but that wasn't going to be a deal breaker as the Logitek was mostly plugged in on charge anyway(still usable). Anyway, so plugged the TeckNet in a spare USB socket and loaded the software up then clicked on the "mouse setting" icon on my desktop. The settings menu/window is instantly easily understood and very well layed out. So many settings for the hardcore gamer or Media buff, or simple settings for the casual computer user. Multi button configerations Ie: Macros, single key stroke, multi key stroke and many more..Mouse acceleration, pointerspeed scroll speed, double click speed with tester panel and a Polling rate in Hz..Then the next window is DPI multi speed setting, next window is the mouse light colour which has brightness levels or off, and a multi colour chart for custom colour, your choice. also there is a "breathing" control which makes the light pulsate at a steady breathing rate which is also speed controlable..Once you are happy with your personel set up go back to page 1 in the window and click on any of the 5 profile save buttons and your all set to go. Having 5 profile save spaces you have full control in any game or media centre/software on the fly. different profile settings changes the colour of the mouse wheel so you know exactly what profile you are using all the time. You can also set the DPI settings on the fly with the 2 buttons just below the mouse wheel, theres also 4 tiny red LED lights to let you know what DPI setting you have chosen..+ comes with a set of small weights which slot into a compartment on the underside of the mouse so you can play around with the lightness or the solid weighted feel to your desire..Excellent! This is a been a long review as I'm very impressed with the overal features and settings control you have and usually I pay silly money for the best of what is avaiiable for my needs. This mouse has really changed my mind on my spending habbits..So I can not fault this TeckNet M009 mouse at all and thouroughly reccomend to any gamer, media buff or casual computer user out there! Forgot to mention "comfort"...Slots in the hand very nice and all the buttons are exactly where you want them to be, the mouse has a non slip surface and feels great. The buttons have a nice clear "click" when pressed so doesn't feel cheap and nasty at all. Mouse wheel has a very slight notchy guide for precise positioning..Good stuff.

Looks great, works well enough, slight performance issue
First thing, this is a very comfortable, and very good looking mouse. The design makes it easy to use for extended periods of time without cramping, and the LED displays add a nice touch. The extra buttons work as advertised, once programmed via the relatively simple to use software, and I haven't had an issue with those. The scroll wheel and main mouse buttons feel strong. The USB connection was initially a little fiddly, it would occasionally disconnect. But since allowing some more slack with the wire, this has stopped happening. The wire itself is a canvas/fabric, rather than a plastic cover, so feels strong as well as flexible. It is also long enough for any reasonable need. The buttons for quick DPI control are very useful for gaming, and I haven't encountered a problem with this. There is one issue, however, and it is potentially a pretty big one depending on your purposes. There have been times, perhaps once every few hours of use, when then mouse suddenly starts to work after a small delay. To guess, I would say around 1/3rd of a second. It is noticeable, and quite annoying, but usually only lasts a few seconds. It's not a big deal generally, but if you are gaming (especially FPS games) this can make a pretty big difference.I would recommend this as a good value, relatively low priced gaming mouse. The build quality is good, it is comfortable, simple to program, very good looking, and generally a pleasure to use. The issue with the delay doesn't hamper me too much, rather it is a slight occasional annoyance. This mouse is good for anyone wanting a low cost, but high performance gaming mouse. But not one for very serious professional or competitive gamers. 4/5.
