Works Very well
just received my M6PRO. i'm not getting any image from the rear camera. been all thru the settings. firmware is up to date. everything else seems ok so far.. sure like the interface tho being a touch screen. I'll update as their CS responds to me.UPDATE! 2/14/19I received a response from CS. they were very kind and are sending out a replacement unit. I'm completely satisfied with their response. I think they learned something about their own Camera ;-)I'm upgrading to 3 stars. Once new replacement is installed and tested, then I'll Update my review againUPDATE: 3/1/2019.. After some back & forth e-mails with Will at CS who was very patient with me, I not only have the M6 working great in wife's car but I also Installed their A1 model dash cam with the 270* pivoting camera. both have a nice touch screen interface. The M6 is very easy to navigate to the key areas used most often. I setup the rear camera inside in the back rather than as a backup cam due to the car already having a factory backup camera. I did this so when the car is ever serviced by someone, I can rest assure no clowning around with the car will happen, and if so, its all on tape..both cameras record just fine, and playback is quick & easy to find when needed (for them. yea those stops along the road)Camera brightness is great for the front as well as very sharp. The rear is actually pretty good for 720p. The price is sure right especially on a lightning deal for the features the M6 offers.I will update as summer hits out here in Arizona to see how well it takes the heat.

The right fix for my problem.
First, this setup DOES now record both front and back camera views with firmware update. They do not publish that update on their website but if you write and email to them, they will send you the updates. Simple to do. I have a Porsche 2011 911 that did not have a backup camera despite having a color touchscreen head unit. There is a solution if you want to use the OEM head unit that will cost you about $800 just for the adapter and the head unit will have to come out, be opened and monkeyed with. Another solution is pulling the head unit out and putting an aftermarket unit in which will, with the cost of the head unit, adapter kit for the fiber optic amp, and labor could put you back about $1,500 if done reasonably. This solution was simple, elegant and cost effective. You add a dashcam to your car which is a new feature. Buy the fuse tap to make it a permanent install...overall, on sale, the unit plus install at BestBuy was about $200. Works great. The only negative is that there is some vibration on the mirror from the engine and the road so you may need to find a way to make the straps a bit tighter...

Great Customer Service
I bought this item not expecting it to be any good because I never heard of the brand before but boy was I amazed how clear the display was and how easy it was to install. I am by no means a handy man but the youtube videos gave me enough information to install this on my Gen Coupe. During the process I had a small issue with the blank screen when I put my car in reverse but again the power of youtube I found out that there was a firmware upgrade to both record with both cameras and also to fix the blank screen due to the screen saver. One tip for anyone with grainy/fuzzy backup camera to watch where you put the power cables. I had to adjust it so theres wasnt so much vibration and it works perfectly. One more tip is buy a USB power bank and use a mini USB cable to USB cable if you dont want to mess with the fuse box because my 10k power bank lasts about 24 hours with the motion detector so my front and back is secured when there's movement. I just swap them out every morning when I go to work or if I forget I just bring the power bank and charge it while at work.Update: Joanne from Auto-vox reached out about my issue and resolved it by offering a replacement. Before you install the device plug it in and verify that both the backup camera and dash cam work before going through the installation. The replacement device turned on immediately and was recording while I had it tested in the house using my mini USB wire and a power plug.

So far so good (will update if my opinion changes)
I've just installed this in my mustang. The rearview mirror is now huge but the visors still work perfectly. So far the only complaint I have is that I wish the power cable plug connected straight down into mirror instead of bending. I can't imagine anyone not running the wire around the top of the windshield and it would be nice if it went straight up into the headliner. (See photo)Installation was pretty easy, I did have to drill a small hole in my bumper beneath the license plate in order to run the wiring but it's completely hidden. I like that this mounts over the existing rearview mirror. I do not like making alterations to my car that aren't factory because I think they look cheap so I like solutions that don't require permanent changes. The video quality seems good. I do wish it recorded the rear but I plan to use my old dash camera for this since this records the front.

Complimenting Accessory for Auto-Vox Dashcam
I decided to purchase this power supply connection harness for two reasons. The 1st is to provide a hardwired power source for the Auto-Vox dashcam. It's just a cleaner installation rather than having additional cords, and clutter in the cab. So your not plugging, and unplugging to supply power to the product along with having to store when not in use. So many of today's vehicles have limited storage, and the power supply which comes with the dash cam connects to your lighter or power port. And many vehicles either don't have a lighter anymore or have only one power port. The 2nd is in order to use the parking mode function which is an included feature of the dash cam. That way if someone bumps your vehicle when parked, the cameras video record the incident. The owners manual for the dash cam provides sufficient information to choose the proper location for hardware use, and installation requirements.

Works really well but description is incorrect, this fits a low profile mini fuse box, not mini fuse as decsribed
Bought to hardwire a dashcam into a VW Golf MK6. Unfortunately the fuse adapter on this is the wrong size, being a low profile mini fuse. Item description says it's a mini fuse but that's not the case. I was able to remove the plastic part between the connector legs to make it fit in the fuse box, but it did mean buying an additional low profile mini fuse as the one I'd replaced in the car fuse box didn't fit into this adapter.More than enough cable to run from the fuse box at the side of the dashboard, behind the a-pillar trim and tucked under the headliner over the windscreen. Wired in to work when I turn on the ignition, there were only two positions the adapter would fit, one on ignition and one permanent. All hidden away, really tidy and I don't even have to think about it.
