Growing up, my mother would always use Christmas themed scented candles around the holidays to give our home that wonder Christmas atmosphere, as a kid coming home from school, it was a really great sense of "home" whenever similar scented candles were alight. Since then I have found myself performing the same tradition and scented candles can often be expensive and hit or miss when it comes to actually delivering that atmosphere you want from them.This gift set is perfect as a gift or even just for your own home with a great presentation box that when opened reveal the wonderfully designed 2 candles, all in decorative tins and lids for storage. I test lit them to see how strong the scent would be and they all gave a lovely but not overpowering scent that gently filled the room and despite it being mid November, did create that Xmas feeling. A fantastic set to serve as a stocking filler gift or just for your own home for the festive season. I fully recommend this set.

This is a cute little gift set of two candles. The photos on the listing are a good likeness and what you see is what you will get. The box does have a spoiler on the front announcing “scented candle,” but it is still kind of a surprise as from the grammar you would think you’re getting one when in fact inside is two (yay). The box is pretty generic so would be suitable for any occasion, you’re not just limited to birthdays.There are two candles in individual prettily patterned and coloured tins. The box smells lovely when opened. If I was doing a blind smell test, I would be able to tell that the lemon one is lemon and I couldn’t tell you what Jasmine smells like but the candle smells delicious.This would be ideal for a secret Santa, or a little thank you. Who doesn’t love a candle and these look good and smell great and the tin will also be reusable when the candle is gone.This passes my giftability test in that I would be delighted to receive it as a gift and equally happy to gift it to friend or family (ditto).

This little duo of candles is a cute find which is just the job for a small gift or even just a treat for yourself. They come in lovely little decorated tins with soft scents that are pleasant but not exactly powerful (If you're after a fragrance that fills the whole room, these might feel a bit on the mild side). The box they come in is also prettily decorated in the same arty style as the tins. I do love that they’re made with soy wax for a cleaner burn and that the tins are reusable, making them ideal for refilling once they’re done. Not bad for the price, either, especially as a gift or if you’re a candle lover looking for something subtle and pretty (but not expecting strong smelling candles).

They’d make a lovely gift on their own or even as part of an advent calendar or birthday surprise. I like that the jars can be reused once the candles are finished, so they add a bit of charm to the room even after the wax is gone.As for the scent, it’s subtle but pleasant. They’re not overpowering, which can be a good thing if you prefer a softer fragrance around the house. However, I did expect them to be a bit stronger, especially for a Christmas-themed candle. I love when candles fill the room with a rich, warm scent, but these are more on the delicate side. They’re ideal if you’re after a more understated fragrance rather than something that takes over the space.The burn time is excellent, though. They do last ages, and the soy wax burns evenly without any of that tunnelling you sometimes get with cheaper candles. I’ve been using them during baths and for a bit of relaxation during yoga, and they create a lovely calming atmosphere.Overall, they’re a nice option, especially for a gift, and I’m pleased with the quality of the candles themselves. If you’re after something with a stronger scent, they might not quite hit the mark, but for a soft, long-lasting fragrance, they’re a great buy.

These candles are lovely, with two very unique, powerful fragrances. They come in lovely ornate tins, with an ornate box to match, making them perfect for gifting.I'm unsure how long these last as they're still going strong, but I've used each for a couple of hours already and they're still fairly near the top.

This is a nicely presented festive candle set consisting of two scented candles - namely Seaside Christmas and Cassia Bark in green and red colours respectively. The candles smell lovely at first sniff however when burning the scent could be much stronger as it's fairly subtle. Nonetheless, this candle gift set makes for a nice gift, Secret Santa or stocking filler gift. The candles come in glass jars and have a 80 hour burn time which is decent.

Smell amazing fills up a whole room with strong beautiful fragrance. Will definitely buy again great gift ideas. Wonderful for office use.......m

I got these and they are so cute.The candles are in small tins and they smell great, They burn so and last longer than I thought.The tins are decorative so they look cute sitting on your table or shelf, and you can use them for something else once the candles are gone,

Cute candle, a bit small bit it did last a while. Would probably be best for decoration but the scent is light and pleasant.
