Hi there. Could anyone please tell me how you would use for laundry liquid? ie would it be a capful like usual laundry liquid? Thank you 😊

I use a large capful with some drops of lavender oil for scent, cap and a half if it’s quite dirty. It won’t get serious stains out though, pre-treat those before putting them in.

Do I need to add a preservative to keep a handmade bottle of handsoap fresh? i.e not essential oils

Not if you’re using just plain Castile soap with or without essential oils, but as soon as you add other ingredients like water/floral water, aloe gel etc, you then introduce the chance of bacteria growing. Having said that, your Castile soap-mix will still last a long time even with water based products added. Hope this helps.
