Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 16GB (2024 model) – 7" glare-free display and weeks of battery life – Black

This kindle is exactly what its supposed to be. A perfect reding experience

Upgraded from the Kindle Paperwhite 2015, 7th Gen, and the difference is honestly amazing! It’s so much faster, lightweight, and comfortable to hold while reading. The adjustable warm light is good for late night reading. Dark mode is a noticeable plus. I also love how the screen sits flush with the frame as compared to my old kindle Adding books is easy, and type C charging is a nice upgrade too. The battery life is amazing, one charge lasted over three months, even with constant reading! Overall, really happy with this upgrade and new features. Edit: After the new software update, battery does drain a little faster but still lasts over a month.

I love using my kindle... i couldn't finished a book with ease as a mum but with kindle i fine it so convenient to read whenever i put my toddler for nap. No need for lights.. i could read directly.

This kindle truly surpassed my expectations. I upgraded from a 7th gen Kindle Paperwhite (2015) and I have to say that it's so amazing compared to my older Kindle. The display is so much larger in person and the new paperwhite is somehow lighter! The battery so far seems decent, it's really easy to buy and download books. I would 100% recommend this kindle to someone who has never had one. It really reduces the friction of reading a book and makes you enjoy it a lot more. The device is very light, thin and is perfectly portable with a nice crisp display and backlight in yellow and white too, but would recommend a case as it can probably get scratched easily.

I’ve been contemplating about upgrading to the latest Paperwhite for several weeks. My old standard Kindle 10th generation is alive and well, even the battery still lasts weeks. I was trying to be e-waste cognizant, thinking that I don’t really need to change, etc. But with the Thanksgiving promotion, I decided to pull the trigger. … Feels like a step-change! Haven’t noticed any drawbacks yet, frankly. Despite some reviews I did not notice any un-uniformity of the light. Warm light is a huge difference for you eyes if you like to read in the dark. The loading speed and page turning finally feels like more or less modern technology, not the XX-century. It’s swift, almost no delay and even has slight animation). Wireless charging! You can now charge almost everything on the single q-charger. USB-C is also there and charges very fast, mine went from 41% to 87% in ~20 minutes. The screen is noticeably crisper, pictures are finally pictures, not a blurred grey spot. Oh, and don’t worry about the size-the difference is there, but I’d call it negligible. I went for the Signature edition, as the price difference is not that high. If you’re still hesitating, don’t! You won’t regret it!

Nice

STOP WORKING DUE TO REGION RESTRICTION AND I BOUGHT IT IN THE SAME PLACE I’M USING IT IN .

I really like it! Started reading lots of books after I bought it which is good for people who get bored from books. Only problem is the updates, which might be annoying as some of them have bugs. Overall its good:)

For me, has clearer text compared, and faster reaction time when turning to the next page compared to the Kobo Libra Colour. The only downsides I can think of are 1) no Overdrive app that could have allowed me to borrow from our public library, and 2) not colored, which I don't mind because most ebooks I read don't have pictures anyway. Long battery life. Bought it during this year's Amazon Prime Day Sale so I got a good discount. Highly recommended to those who like to read or those who want to pick up the hobby of reading. :)

Love this product it gets used everyday. It is lightweight and easy to use. The battery life is so good I can get weeks of reading on this on one charge
