Clear, and very sticky
Bought to mount some recycled car badges on my classic car. It's like a clear gel, and is a strong adhesive. I first cut a strip to length and applied the badge to it. Then before peeling off the backing tape, carefully cut around the letters with a craft knife. Worked a treat.

Sticks really well, but do degrease surfaces.
Used to reattached wooden glazing bars to sealed glass units. Degreased carefully, reattached and absolutely solid.

Good, but hard to work with
Does the job, but quite difficult to work with. Removing the backing tape is the problem, has the sticky tape itself is very soft. This led to a couple of crumpled, wasted lengths.

Awsome stuff
Stuff is amazing just remember to use a good alcohol liquid to clean both surfaces. I just stuck a roof spoiler on my car and its solid as a rock

Stick car plates on with this and they are NEVER coming off; not even with a full set of tools and daylight!

Good reliable tape, does the job well
This 3M 4950 heavy-duty tape is an okay product that provides a decent hold. At 1.1mm thick, it cushions slight surface unevenness well, making it fine for basic mounting tasks around the house. It isn't an instant bond, so you do need to press firmly and let it cure for a while, but once set, it handles lightweight accessories completely fine.

Extremely strong double sided tape, make sure you have the item in exactly the right place because you will not be able to adjust once you have contacted the surface.
