LOKITHOR JP400 Jump Starter with Air Compressor for 8.5L Gas/6.5L Diesel

Great price and I did alot of research and looking at different compact jump packs.. I chose this one due to the brand seeming legitimate. And them offering alot of original products there designing and testing in house. Alot of the others just are the same products with different labels. The Jump option works great and seems true amps/watts.. Started completely dead cars.. Also have used the pump a bunch. Its not the fastest but it works good. Will turn on protection mode if you pump to long and you will have to let it cool down before using it again. I recommend running for maximum of 20psi at a time. If you need more just give it a break and fill the rest of the way up. Battery life is also very good and can be used a a power bank. Feels sturdy and well built and is also small enough to fit anywhere!

I purchased this while there was a lightning deal going on. There are so many different brands and styles to choose from. I have used jumpers with the old lead acid technology in the past and was almost leaning towards purchasing another. However, the cost for those was enough to make me think twice. This is much smaller and lighter which makes it extremely portable. I have an Infiniti that has a phantom drain on the battery. I have also had Nissan's in the past that have also had this Phantom drain that could not be explained. In the Texas heat, that can increase the risk of you having a dead battery. This definitely started up my Infiniti where my other jumpers had a very difficult time. I think the neatest feature about this is it will tell you if your clamps are making perfect contact with the posts to have a successful jump. If either the + or - is yellow, you're not going to have a successful jump. My other jumpers did not have this feature, and it led to some frustration when I couldn't get the car started. I can't comment on the "force" setting as I have not come across a situation that needed it. The air pump is definitely much better than other portable pumps I have owned in the past. It is indeed very quick, but I must warn you that this will overheat very quickly especially in the Texas heat. You may also want to wait a minute or two after completing your top off as the hose may be extremely hot to the touch. This is only good if you need to top off your PSI by 5 or 6 lbs. Anything more than that and you are not only going to drain the battery quickly but increase the risk of it overheating and then have to wait longer for it to cool down. It's very finicky and sensitive. The flexible hose is extremely welcome whereas I have had stiff ones in the past that can be annoying. The thumb latch for opening and closing the valve is the preferred type. Recharging times will vary depending on your cord and the outlet of which you plug it into. It is best you use the cord that came with this, or any premium type c charging cable that you would use for your phone. As far as longevity is concerned? Time will tell. The only annoyance but not a deal breaker for me is the useless bag that comes with it. It will not hold all of the accessories and the charger. Into the trash that will go. I recommend it especially if you can purchase it during a lightning deal. This is an excellent choice if you are on a budget and not looking to spend over $100.

Item arrived promptly and packaged perfectly. It is easy to figure out but also has a great booklet with directions. The flashlight is powerful. The Jumpstart works like a charm and the air compressor pumped the tire right up and I felt reassured that I'm I needed to, I could use it again on my way to the tire shop for a repair. It also comes with a handy bag for the accessories and the unit.

I have had 2 previous Lokithor units that were previous generation. I live in Arizona where summer temps get to 115 degrees and cars can heat over 150 degrees internally. I had previous interaction with Lokithor customer support due to the heat because I kept the units in my car. Their support was, and continues to be beyond excellent. Accordingly they asked me to test this new unit and give my honest opinion. I have no connection with Lokithor. The unit is much smaller than my previous units. The compressor function is amazing and I have used it many times to pump tires, balls and blow up toys. It has been reviewed by others and I will not add to that except to mention how convenient it is. The battery start function has been upgraded and I attach some video and photos. Firstly, the unit now measure the existing voltage when connected. See photo. It also now detects reverse polarity and flashes accordingly. See second photo. It also detects if the connection is not solid and indicates with a yellow light. When you connect to the battery the unit it counts down to let you know when it is ready to be used and start your car. See video. It also has a boost feature which allows you to start a really dead battery that will not start with the regular charge. You can see tis boost light in the video when the count down ends. 2 other benefits - it has an LED light for emergencies at night and also can charge portable devices as a bonus. This new unit now says it is rated up to 50C so hopefully it will last in the heat of the desert. There is one negative which causes me to subtract a *. My original units came with a large bag that would hold the unit and all accessories to carry or store in one place. This unit (as others have mentioned) contains a very small bag that holds the accessories but not the unit itself. All in all I highly recommend this if you have a car or a truck that meets the specs. Most cars and trucks will be fine.

The build quality gives it a durable feel, and it doesn’t seem like a device that was made with inexpensive materials. One thing that has impressed me is the battery life. After storing it in my vehicle for about three months without recharging it, the battery indicator still showed a full charge. That gives me confidence that it will be ready if I ever need it. The air compressor is a feature I expect to use regularly, and it’s one of the main reasons I chose this upgraded version over my previous model. The flashlight is also a useful feature to have for roadside emergencies, just as it was on the J400. For me, combining a jump starter, tire inflator, flashlight, and power bank into a single portable device adds real convenience without taking up much space in the car. Based on my experience so far, it has met my expectations and has been a worthwhile upgrade from the previous model.

It's a great compact jump starter and air compressor. It's very easy to use and works great. I used it to jump-start my car battery and also inflate my tires. I didn't have any issues. I'd recommend this jump starter with an air compressor to everyone; it includes everything you need. It has a flashlight and you can use it as a power bank to charge different electronic devices such as phones or laptops. It's lightweight and doesn't take up too much space. It's very useful to have in case of emergencies. It's the best jump starter with an air compressor that I've ever tried. I highly recommend everyone to have one.

So this was the first non-LiFePo4 version of a Loki charger I have gotten, and I was interested to know if the quality and safety was as good as my old ones. And I have had lithium powered air compressors in the past, but not a combo unit. This one did a really good job. I swapped the winter tires off my daughter's car and discovered a leak in one of the summer tires. This little guy got the tire back up to full pressure more quickly than my dedicated compressor unit. I did notice that for the car setting, pressure was set to BAR units by default, and I had to change the mode to bike if I wanted pressure shown in PSI. The default of 2.5 BAR is quite close to 35 PSI so it wasn't a problem. But because the bike default pressure was lower than what was in the tire, the shutoff limit was already reached and the pump didn't come on until I raised the target pressure. Just something to remember. Then I took the Loki out to an old Jeep that had a dead battery, turned it on and hooked it up. It went through a safety countdown and then I heard the click of the voltage engaging. It started the 6-cylinder Jeep easily and it appears that it disconnected by itself after the engine caught, another safety feature so the alternator wasn't feeding current back into the jump starter. I was impressed, and I'll get another one for my daughter's car. Little bit of a learning curve but well worth it for the safety features. I had two older no-name jump starters swell up and bust their enclosures because they weren't as protected.

Für Benziner bis 8,5 Liter und Diesel bis 6,5 Liter ist es ausgelegt. Das Gehäuse wirkt robust, die Gummi-Ummantelung schützt vor Stößen und liegt sicher in der Hand. Die Klemmen packen sofort zu und das Display zeigt klar, ob der Kontakt stimmt. Der Kompressor ist für die Größe stark. Ich bringe die Reifen meines Kombis von 2,1 auf 2,5 Bar in rund anderthalb Minuten. Das Display zeigt den Druck präzise. Nach drei Reifen wird das Gerät warm und der Übertemperaturschutz greift ein, kurze Pausen sind nötig. Die Powerbank bietet einen Mehrwert, in meinem Alltag habe ich sie jedoch fast nie genutzt. Die LED-Leuchte reicht aus, um nachts Reifen oder Motorraum auszuleuchten. Der Luftschlauch ist allerdings etwas kurz, bei höheren Ventilen muss ich das Gerät nah heranholen. Verglichen mit ähnlichen Starthilfegeräten auf dem Markt fällt auf, dass der JP400 deutlich kompakter ausfällt als seine Konkurrenz. Andere Modelle brauchen mehr Platz und wiegen oft das Doppelte. Die Kombination aus Starthilfe und Kompressor spart dir zusätzlich eine separate Anschaffung. Was den Preis von 89,45 € (Stand: 12.12.2025, Couponpreis) angeht, zahlt man bei diesem Gerät nicht für überflüssigen Schnickschnack, sondern für Funktionalität, die sich im Alltag bewährt. Die ConnectMax Technologie ist ein echtes Selling Point, das Konkurrenzprodukte oft nicht haben. Der German Design Award 2025 ist kein Marketing Gag, sondern zeigt sich in praktischen Details wie dem durchdachten Lüftungsdesign, das die Wärme besser ableitet. Der JP400 wirkt wie ein stimmiges Gesamtpaket. Die Bedienung über Display und Tasten ist klar und auch im Stress leicht zu verstehen. Für gelegentlichen Einsatz und als Notfallreserve reicht es völlig aus. Wer regelmäßig viele Reifen befüllt, stößt an Grenzen. Der kompakte Bauform und die benutzerfreundliche Bedienung sind weitere Pluspunkte, dazu kommen 10 Schutzfunktionen. Für mich als Alltagsfahrer ist es die passende Mischung aus Leistung, Größe und Stabilität. Damit hat es meinen alten Starthilfe-Klotz und die separate Mini-Pumpe ersetzt. Dafür gibt’s von mir 5 Sterne.
