The Christmas Chronicles

Not perfect, but close. I learned more history, less painfully, than I did in many of my classes of years ago.There is a movie by the same name, starring Kurt Russell. Watch it, especially if you are an Elvis fan.There is another book by the same name. Meh.

This candle works great for us. No heavy fragrance. Gets rid of my husbands cigarette smoke just fine.

I really enjoyed all three stories, The Autobiography of Santa Claus, How Mrs. Claus Saved Christmas and the Great Santa Search. Unfortunately, I somhow missed the fact that this book was a compilation of those three, and bought this in addition to the other three as seperate volumes. I am currently looking for a friend to give it to, who might enjoy these stories as much as I did.And i did enjoy them. I loved the historical Saint Nicholas explaining both the history and the myth. Other historical figures add to the fun. I read these in April. I'm sure to enjoy them every bit as much re-reading at Christmas-time.

Jeff Guinn is a brilliant author. This book draws you in and you actually become a character in the book. His imagination is priceless and the story line very compelling. I could hardly put the book down for wanting to see who the next contributor to our history would join in the story! Excellent book and I have given it as a gift many times and plan to continue giving it for a long time to come!!! You will be intrigued and mesmerized by this wonderful story of Santa's life. If you feel you have outgrown Santa, just read this book and all the magic and mystery of Santa will be restored! Highly recommend reading this book!

This is one of my favorite books ever! I picked up two at Cracker Barrel before Christmas 2013 at Cracker Barrel. After I started reading mine I wanted to buy more for Christmas 2014 gifts. Cracker Barrel was sold out so I check out Amazon. They had 20 books left & I ordered them all! I want to spread the glowing spirit of this book!

I like it because it helps with my Christmas History because I play Santa Claus.

I didn't read the description. This is a compilation of Jeff Guinn's wonderful 3 Christmas books, not a new one!If you have not read the individual books, then this is a fabulous book for you. The book is beautifully bound ... but if you thought it was a new one.... opps! Maybe Mr Guinn will give us a new one later.... I sure hope so.JMHO //(*_*)\\

Love the history behind the story. Always a good read at holiday time no matter how old your children are.
