Sympathy Cat - Cat Angel Pet Memorial Stone

I must have received someone's return, because this was thrown into a box twice the size of the sculpture with absolutely NO inner box, padding, peanuts, airbags, not even a flimsy newspaper. How it arrived undamaged rattling around in that box is truly a miracle. You'd think the wings or ears would have come off, but no. A testament to sturdiness and the care Amazon drivers take with their deliveries. Sculpture itself is very sweet and a fitting tribute to beloved pets who have gone on. Deducting 1 star for absolutely terrible packing.

My wife passed away April 2nd after 10 months in hospice care due to cancer and 4 strokes. Her 2 cats kept her company and let her know how much they loved her. I couldn't think of anything better than an angelic cat curled up with her. Perfect. It will be two months before her headstone is complete and angel cat will be her protector until that time. Then he will become part of her headsone.

When our 16 year-old cat passed away, ( We had raised him since he was 3-days old as he was abandoned by his mother) we were heart-broken and felt he deserved a unique grave marker. We placed this resin statue on a concrete square over his grave and attached a cat collar with his tag on it. The statue is weather-proof and is a very nice touch to the grave of a special pet.

I bought this to serve as a memory for our cat who was recently attacked and killed by three dogs. :-(The reason I chose this one was because of the little cat's expression which is really lovely and serene/peaceful. The color was a bit 'off' (it's a lighter yellowish green, instead of a grey green) but that personally doesn't bother me that much. It's a resin statue and not a heavy stone statue, but I'm quite confident it will withstand common weather/wind.My statue came out of the box without any damage (cardboard box with styrofoam holding the statue in place), but the cardboard box it came in is indeed a bit flimsy so I can understand other reviewers' issues with the packaging.Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase!

We bought this after we lost our cat. We couldn't bury her in the backyard but we could put a memorial back there. The kids helped pick it out. Some previous reviews have stated they thought it was small. Measure it out prior and look at the size, it is exactly the dimension they have advertised. It will be perfect in our garden we're starting. It's probably the size of a large rabbit with wings. Yes, it's light, I believe it's made of resin.The kids were quite happy with it, we'll be writing the cat's name on the bottom part of it, we're hoping it will stay on there.EDIT: We've had this for a few years now and it has been exposed to a couple of winters, snow, hail, extreme heat, etc. and it is still holding up. I am extremely happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this.

Perfect memorial for our Rawr. Looks exactly as advertised. We will keep this in her favorite spot on our desk so I can't attest to how well it will stand up outdoors. It feels like the material I have of other outdoor decor so it might do well.

This is a nice memorial stone and on that alone I wish I could give it five stars. However I had to buy three of them before I got one that was in acceptable condition. The first had a broken ear, repairable if I had all the bits of ear in the box..the second was basically half gravel by the time it got to me...even the third one which I kept had damage to one of the wings the tip had been broken off but it was just one piece and a bit of glue repaired it fine.As others have said it is lightweight and will need to be drilled and filled with sand or something similar.If you are looking for something small and tasteful that won't break the bank this is a very nice piece and it did help give me some closure, and give me one last chance to do something nice for my furry friend who I have missed every day since his passing earlier this month.
