Jim Shore Heartwood Creek Nativity Star Stone Resin Hanging Ornament, 5”

I like this ornament, but was expecting it to be flatter. It is a dome shape. I like the cross similar to this option much better.

Gifted to others who were happy to receive them. The quality’s great and they are truly significant for the Christmas season with the Nativity depicted.

Got this as a gift for my wife and she loves it. Matches really well with the nativity set.

Every Christmas, each child in my family & my husband & I, buy an ornament for the tree. Even though my kids are now in their early 30's and out of the house, we (or they) still get one for them, and each ornament brings back wonderful memories of each year of their lives. (My young son got a dinosaur one year & it always brings a laugh.) our tree is so jammed! It's awesome ... if you don't mind a tree that is absolutely covered with ornaments.This is the one I chose for my husband (2016) and I'm so glad I got it. It's beautiful - like every other Jim Shore piece - and it's a perfect addition to the tree. The only down side was that there was a little round sticker on the back & when I removed it, the area was darker - as though the back of the ornament had faded. I was able to kinda camouflage it by writing our names & the date over it. Other than that, it's perfect.

I collect ornaments that I like. This one is going to be among my absolute favorites. It's beautifully made and depicts the nativity, which is what Christmas is really about. The details are great. It really looks like hand carved wood with hand painting. The size it perfect; not too big, not too small. This would be a great gift to anyone who celebrates the real meaning of Christmas.
