Fabulous product!
Don't know why there is a "fit" question for this product. How could a tube of cream be to large, or too small? Anyway, absolutely fabulous product. I have a very expensive Coach purse that was in good condition except for lots of scuffs. I bought leather cream which would make it look better, but the scuffs still showed, and it made the purse look ready for the bin. I bought this product, spent a short while rubbing it on (watched a youtube video prior to purchase and that helped with what to do, since all the instructions are in French, though there are good illustrations), and now my purse is beautiful again. It has not rubbed off. I will definitely purchase this again!

Didn't work very well for my shoe needs
A door was opened on my Allen Edmond Oxford Leeds and I was hoping this product would cover it up. I watched all the youtube videos where people were applying it and having success, so I thought I would try it. First thing I notices when the first application dries was that the area covered turned very smooth. Normally that would not be a problem, but the leather in my shoes is not smooth. Now I had an area of smoothness contrasted with the rest of the shoe that was not smooth. To add to this problem, after three applications, following all the youtube video advice, the gouge in the leather of my shoe was even more noticeable because the gouge was still visible and the surrounding area was shinny! Then I thought that I should wait and let it dry and try to polish over the whole area. Very shinny shoe with a very noticeable gouge in the leather. I really hope you have better luck.

Save for Serious Repair Work
I bought this cream to dress my welts when I wax my shoes. It works great but is overkill. Too pricey for such a simple task. Something with an applicator would work just good.. This cream is better saved for repairs on scratches, scrapes, and abrasions to the uppers. I've used it for this purpose and it's excellent. Filling gouges in the leather makes the uppers last longer and keeps dirt and moisture out of the material.

Barely even a cosmetic fix
I have a pretty good tear in my brand new black leather boots, so I thought I'd give this a try. Granted, I'm no shoe carpenter, but I can objectively say this product isn't very good. For one thing, it seems impossible to get the color to match. I bought this with the Saphir polish with black dye, and one would think the tones would match. But they don't. They are several shades off.I could live with this, because it does make the damage way less visible. The biggest problem is that after a couple weeks the stuff starts to wear out and I'm seeing cracks in the spot where I applied it. So I think I'l have to keep reapplying it in effort to keep my boots looking smart. I'll be on the lookout for a better version of this product.

BEWARE - Colors do not match the labels - pay close attention to the color chart!
Ordered #35 medium tobacco brown thinking it would match the label shown on the picture of the tube in the listing. Not even close! Instead of a rich brown with a slight reddish overtone, it is a deep red with brownish overtones. It is close, but not exact, to the picture in the color chart (with Chinese (?) lettering) but nothing like the tube picture. I was hopeful that the red would turn to brown as it dried but it did not - filled the cracks in my shoes with RED. Fortunately it removed easily with acetone. Wasted money on this because of the inaccurate picture. I blame Saphir not the seller.

Excellent edge dressing
Used as edge dressing for black dress shoes and it makes them look even better than brand new. Now I'm not afraid to scuff my shoes out in the concrete jungle. It's a bit like a more viscous plasti-dip filler material with black pigment. It can spread on smooth. Cleans off fingers pretty easily, but you might try gloves.

The product filled the scratch just fine, but it is basically plastic so shoe polish doesn't really stick to it. And since the color of the product doesn't perfectly match the leather, the line of product filling the line is always visible now. Disappointed.

A bit expensive for a small tube, but then again, where else would I find shoe renovating cream in this color? I have a pair of oxfords in exactly the shade of "jean blue" which, although rather new, the toe area was beginning to show wear and fading. I used this cream and they look like new. I did follow up the cream (after it dried), with blue jean color shoe polish, but so far, the shoes look great.

Great shoe scuff repair
I badly scuffed the top of the toe on a recently purchased smart black leather men's derby pair of shoes. As the scuff was a series of deep parallel scores , about an inch wide and an inch long on the promenent top of the toe I considered relegating these to 'gardening duty'. Researched on U Tube and thought I would try this product, which apparently contains a filler. This renovating cream has a thick consistency and high black pigmentation. Needed two coats, but I'm amazed to say it did the trick. I'm now proud to wear these smart shoes again with the damage invisible and forgotten. I will now try other Saphir shoe care products to maintain my many pairs of quality leather shoes. As a guide I would only ever buy or recommend leather lined shoes, never textile lined shoes which reflect an inferior quality of manufacture and won't last as long.
