Ok, so someone gave us one of these a long time ago. I seriously thought it was a cheesy "As Seen on TV" product and never took it out of the box. Actually donated to Goodwill after sitting in my garage for several years un-used. We visited the friends who gave this to us and attended a large tailgate event with them. They had four or five or these Chill Chests in use that day and I could have kicked myself for doubting. Came home and ordered one immediately. We use this ALL. THE. TIME. Have never used it for keeping things cold because we have a decent cooler for that, but man oh man, does this chest keep your hot foods hot. At Thanksgiving, I can bake casseroles ahead of time, tuck them away in the Chill Chest and keep on using the oven. They are still nice and hot when dinner rolls around. It's great for tailgating, too. It's sturdy enough to be man-handled and stacked in the truck and folds flat for storage. Don't be a doubter, - this thing is the real deal.

Does exactly what it promises. Very lightweight so easy to keep in trunk of even a small car. Only wish that it came with an optional waterproof liner to be able to use it in summer with ice bags so drinks don't have to be ice cold BEFORE they go in. Does keep drinks cold if they went in cold for long time. Also tried it for a glamping cookout and it worked well (not for real camping bear bag areas obviously since it doesn't have a way to be tied up a tree). Good value for money spent.

This cooler is amazing. Love that it collapses to reduce footprint when not in use. We actually use this cooler to keep things HOT (same principle as keeping things cold with the insulated construction) and it works AMAZING. It is also a great size for food pans (I am certain it is great at holding drink cans of your beverage of choice too ;). ). The more wide and flat design of this cooler also make it great for stacking when loading in your car, truck, camper, etc. I usually giggle at “As Seen on TV” products but this seriously is one you won’t regret.

My husband travels for work and lives in hotels while he is away sometimes having to pack up in the morning, work his shift and move to a different hotel after work. Living on the road and constantly eating out was affecting his health and simply getting old at times so I try to meal prep some easy meals he can microwave during his work period. I was amazed at the amount of space and food I was able to pack for him. He has traveled over 8 hours with food and it was still cold when he got to his hotel. Even though it stays cold on its own very well I purchased the yeti cold packs for the cooler and it is wonderful way to keep food cold for him and also for him to pack lunch when he's away.

I used this for a 2 night camping trip and it did a very good job, the only complaint is it leaks if you add ice. I know it says ice is not needed, but we needed ice for drinks and had it in the cooler, as the ice started to melt, it leaked through the cracks. I now know for the next time, this cooler will work for the food and use a different cooler for ice.I really like that it is lightweight and that it folds down when not in use and, so on our camping trips, if there is no food left, it can be folded down which gives you more room in the vehicle on your drive home.Overall a good product and I would certainly recommend.

It took a while to get enough use out of this to write a review. One of them was a gift that got blown away at the beach before it could be properly put to use. The other one I kept for myself and it is okay for keeping cold and frozen groceries for transport from store to home, but it isn't much good for anything else. Whatever you store in it must already be ice cold or it won't work and you have to fill in any left over space with towels or whatever. I tried packing bubbles, but they didn't work too well. It's basically a collapsible styrofoam cooler. So, I'm not really that happy with the product, but it will do in a pinch.

I needed a yogurt incubator that could hold 2 gallons of yogurt divided into pint or half-pint containers and keep the temperature around 105 to 112 degrees. Combining this container with a 25-watt, small base chandelier light bulb and electrical cord attachment, leaving the container Ontel "Chill Chest" open about 3/4", works great to keep the yogurt cultures warm for the 12-16 hours I need. Easy to clean, folds for storage, and the top flap openings make it easy to place and retrieve the jars. For me, it's a perfect, inexpensive method of incubating yogurt cultures.

I love this cooler, this is the second one I have purchased! I've used them for BBQ's out in the sun and it has kept my food/drinks cold for hours. The trick is the cooler needs to be full, if it's not full than it will not work as well. They are made of styrofoam, but they are holding up well with use, no signs of wear and tear yet. The best part about this cooler is that it folds down to be a few inches tall! This makes it great for storing and bring it with you traveling. I keep one in my car for grocery shopping and will bring one with me when I go camping this summer.

Both will be very useful, they fit 2x24 bottles of water. One I'm keeping in the tin boat with water, and the other fits a flat of worms and ice packs

Realmente muy recomendable, no ocupa mucho espacio, pero una vez armado es súper cómodo y fáacil de usar. El material es ligero y frágil, hay que tratarlo con cuidado para que dure mucho tiempo. Se ve muy resistente a la presión, por lo que no se aplasta, pero una vez armado, las partes sencillas podrían maltratarse un poco... mejor cuidarlo

It is made of a heavy styrofoam. Once I found out that, I returned it.

Sirve perfecto par ir al Super comprar los artículos congelados o refrigerados e ir a comer sin necesidad de pasar a dejarlos a cla casa, ames tiempo si pierde su temperatura, saludos
