The instructions are very clear and even suggest the best way to incorporate this into your schedule. I like that. The waist band is stretchy and feels very durable. When wearing it, you realize the position your posture SHOULD be at, then when you remove it (if you've be wearing as per instruction) you tend to remind yourself to correct your posture. This really needs to be worn with a shirt underneath. Maybe I’m being vain, but I don’t like how it makes me look/feel. I don’t want to wear it around my family. This is definitely a self conscious issue.It’s fairly easy to get into and it does help with posture. I wear it when no one is around. The Velcro is strong and doesn’t come loose on its own.
