Always aim for the middle!
Yes, these are basically plastic re-breakable boards. They work well enough. They are a little clumsy because you have to hit it in the middle to break the board. Unfortunately, with these plastic boards you are have a increased risk of hurting yourself if you do not hit the board correctly, that is to say, in the center. These boards do have a slight home padding on them which is very nice! The colors are nice so that you know what you're kicking/hitting. The thinner yellow board wears out fairly quickly, which is to be expected considering it is a thinner board. Simply put, less material wears out easily. I have no complaints about these boards, but would recommend a little bit of caution as they tend to cause the occasional injury. But then again, we are in martial arts. Injuries are expected, right?pilsung!

Complete set at reasonable price. Can be difficult to reset.
Light versions are good for children. Heavy version is quite sturdy, more difficult to break than 1 inch dry pine. Only drawback is that sliding the small boards back together to break again can be tricky.

Karate practice
My karate loving son has been so happy with the unbreakable boards. They slide together so easily yet are actually very difficult to punch or kick apart! I felt it was a cheap gift for him for Christmas and am so surprised at the quality! He has been having so much fun trying to find ways to break the boards with his brother. Great for practice or just play time.

Need Instructions
These boards are nice but some what challenging to put back together after breaking. They could use better instructions to come with them about how tp put them back securely for the next break to save time.

Good quality, help kids practice at home.
It is worth for kids to practice out of Tae Kwon do school. Start from easy to difficult like from yellow belt to brown belt.
