It's well packaged, has instructions, but still need some skill or experience to make it good. I bought two set, one for grandma, one for ourselves. The first one I made, I didn't smooth the clay enough, it's still sticky when I put it in the frame, so the clay stick on the wood stick when I roll it and very hard to make the surface smooth. The second one, I kneaded it longer time, so the clay looks smoother and easier to use the wood stick to roll on it. For the letters, it do take a while to take out the letter and number and arrange it in the right order, so get it ready before the clay, because the clay will dry fast. Then when it's baby's turn to imprint, it's also not easy to manage her, lol and not sure what's the right force to do it. She is 8 month now, the area is still big enough for her size. It took 2 days for the clay to dry, and because the print is not very deep and clear, so I decide to put color on it. Lastly, the frame can fit a 5x7 photo in it, and it can stand on desk or hang on the wall. Overall, it's a good product, just need a more detailed instructions (maybe even video format) or tips to avoid common mistakes, and produce a better/perfect work.

I absolutely loved this product! We used it to make Christmas gifts for family and a keepsake for ourselves. It was very easy to use and baby-friendly. I definitely recommend kneading the clay thoroughly before molding it into the frame and taking your time rolling it out to make it as smooth as possible. I also found that gently pressing with your finger helps remove wrinkles and folds in the clay for a nice, smooth finish. We shipped our finished products to family, and they didn’t break, so the clay is good quality. It’s such a precious keepsake! We found it easier to do a foot stamp rather than a hand, as our baby didn’t want to flatten his hands, but that might vary depending on your child. Overall, it’s definitely worth it for the price and makes a sweet, memorable craft and keepsake.

My grandson is 4 weeks old so it’s hard to get their hands and feet flat so you need two people. The product it great. It’s beautiful

Harder than it looks! I'm a perfectionist, but I had to surrender to reality and the results are... Fine. My baby was 3 months old when I did these prints, which I think is a good age to try this where they have their hands open, but they're still cute and small. The material used for the prints is real clay, not "messless clay" like Model Magic. Don't make my mistake and try to knead the clay before opening the bag, because it turns out the clay is wrapped in cellophane and is really hard and messy to unwrap if you knead before opening. Instead of trying to make the clay as smooth as possible as the instructions suggest, I'd suggest making it look purposefully uneven/textured so when it gets bumped by your flailing baby, it doesn't look ruined. Ask me how I know. The clay dries very fast. I wanted to do two frames, and even though I rolled them out and had them ready together, just the minute it took to press onto one, the other was already dried to the point where it has ugly wrinkles after pressing. It's also surprisingly difficult to angle your baby's hand/foot and get the right pressure to make a good print. I definitely had to "touch up" the indents to make it look halfway decent. The frame itself is good quality, but the little plastic tabs to hold the clay in place are way too tight on both frames. Overall, a fun little gift for far-flung family. But do not expect perfectly smooth clay and picture perfect prints.

This was really easy and such a cute idea. We didn’t paint it but we still might as some of the others look really neat that way. My FIL loved it so much we got him one.

Bought two of these as a baby gift for friends that were having twins and the new parents loved them. great gift, great value, and size. They told me the instructions were easy to follow and use. They now have a set of the tiniest hand and foot prints to treasure forever.

I love this keepsake! I've bought several now to use as gifts for grand parents and Father's Day. Very easy and the hand prints turn out so much better than other kits I've used in the past.

Terrible awful time smoothing out clay (resembles elephant skin!), sent it back. They replaced with a new kit, something happened, very disappointed with wanting our newborns hand & foot print w/frame! 👎 !!!!

Worked great! Super easy to use and had final product looks so cute! I didn’t end up use the paint because I liked the look of just the clay!
