Updated TPD Design - Genuine Kamry K1000 ePipe Kit with Uk Charger in Various Colours (Walnut)

I have often wondered when I read product reviews on Amazon what the person is actually reviewing when they start writing?I am a smoker of cigarettes but who has enjoyed using a pipe in the past. I have tried e-cigs before without much success but technology has now moved on and so I thought I would try the e-cigs/vaping route again. Having made this decision I bought the Wolfteeth e-cig and the Kamry K1000 e-pipe in Walnut from Amazon. This review refers to the Kamry 1000 e-pipe specifically but some aspects also apply to my Wolfteeth e-cig also.Firstly, the difference between an e-pipe and an e-cig is nothing! They use the same principle technology to work, ie. battery, atomiser, tank and mouthpiece. NOW THE REAL DIFFERENCE!THE ENJOYMENT EXPERIENCE OF VAPING IS TOTALY DOWN TO THE E-LIQUID YOU CHOOSE TO USE!Now down to the Kamry 1000 e-pipe.The item was delivered within the terms of Amazon prime and was as usual well packaged.The Kamry K1000 e-pipe comes in a very nice case that zips up one side and would be a good way to carry your pipe with you to the pub.When you open the zipped case you find:1 x Kamry 1000 e-pipe2 x Rechargeable batteries1 x Safety Disc1 x Spare mouth tip1 x UK 3 pin charger2 x Replacement drip stem sealsThe pipe itself is very well made and only slightly larger than a conventional tobacco pipe although it is considerably heavier. It is well made and feels really nice in the hand when using it. The decision to buy this pipe took longer than really necessary due to the misleading reviews (amazon please take note) but I followed my instincts and have been well rewarded.A few tips if buying:1. The batteries don't arrive fully charged (don't believe the instructions or reviews)........... Charge the batteries before using them!2. The tank does not leak.3. The battery lasts longer than a day.4. the atomiser lasts approx. 10 days based upon 5 hours use per day.!Buy and enjoy this pipe with the confidence that if you get your e-juice selection right........ you will never leave this pipe alone for long!!!

Not very good hardly used

I bought this epipe to start the eciggarette experience, cute modern design but very very poor quality, very low airflow and every two days need to change the coil. At the end very expensive for the quality without possibility to return and refund.

This pipe is a lovely thing to hold and use. It feels very comfortable to use and is a smooth vaping experience. I have very much enjoyed using the pipe!BUT .....There is a serious issue with this and all potential buyers need to be aware. The batteries supplied with this product are poor quality. Both batteries have now failed in under 4 months which is pretty poor in my opinion.The batteries also require the use of a little magnetic safety chip when you put it in the pipe. This apparently is ensure the longevity of the batteries, this appears to not work!It also make the use of the pipe slightly frustrating, because if you tighten up the button too much, the chip makes the pipe burn even when not in use. So to combat this you have to sightly loosen the battery cover which then means you have to depress the button harder to vape.The pipe works much better without the chip, but not using the chip invalidates the warranty!!Very poor designing !Now to the more serious issue....During the charging process my charger literally exploded internally and damaged a battery in the process. My Fuse board fortunately tripped out ensuring a blaze did not occur.Now this may be a freak or a one off, but having done a bit of searching, it appears it is not uncommon.After contacting the seller (not Amazon as they just Fulfilled the item). The sellers complacent reply and lack of compassion disturbed me. Their sole intent was to switch blame and responsibility to Amazon. Indeed after further communication they are only going to refer the issue to the manufacturer and do not wish to be involved any further!There was no offer of a replacement or refund just a phone number for Amazon!I however contacted Amazon directly and they indeed confirmed that the 3rd party seller was the responsible party.Amazon customer service however (due to the nature of the fault) instantly refunded my money and told me to dispose of the item.Absolutely exceptional customer service from Amazon and unfortunately the complete polar opposite from the 3rd party seller .Buy with caution, use with even more caution. Expect no support from the 3rd party seller.This is an honest review of my experience and no malice is intended. My only intention is to make the potential buyer aware .

I purchased this starter kit as my husband is a long term tobacco pipe smoker. He was looking for a healtier option.The pipe's design is great all be it a little heavy on the bowl end due to the battery. The instruction manual is miniscule and for anyone who has never used a vapor pipe before it takes abit of time to work out how to fill. And what is the small green disk circuit thing for? At first he thought the tank was faulty as he had it drip but this was due to the top cap not screwed on level after filling, Fiddlely but worth being patient just for the feel good factor. Would recommend to pipe smokers to give it a go.Super quick delivery.
