Taste: While the product doesn’t taste bad, preparing it as directed results in a very mild orange flavor. -as a drink I would prefer more flavor. Texture: The psyllium husk absorbs water extremely quickly—even in cold or room-temp water—which is just the nature of the ingredient itself. Because it starts to gel so fast, you have to chug it, and even then it can be difficult to get down. (I personally gag at it, but I have sensory issues) If the gel like texture is an issue for you, I found it more palatable mixed into food with water on the side. Texture aside, the product itself is highly effective. Mixability: It doesn’t always mix smoothly and tends to clump. Again nature of the ingredient not the brand. The powder is very fine and non-gritty perfect for other mixings. Side effects: I had uncomfortable bloating the first time (2 scoops/ full glass), I recommend starting with (1 scoop or less/full glass) Dont rush it. Increase it from there as you grow tolerance. You may feel very full. - it helped me eat less!

Doctor recommended. I can assure you my gastroenterologist recommended this to me. Tastes actually pretty great! It tastes fruity like oranges. I like it a lot. No after taste. Tastes natural. Start out with a small spoon if it's your first time to slowly introduce this amount of fiber to your body. So far I don't feel any side effects. Helps a lot with GI issues. Do not wait to drink this as soon as you mix a spoon or two in a 8oz glass. I started off with a 4oz glass=1 spoon for the first 3 days to 2 spoons in an 8oz. My GI symptoms seemed to improved as far as bathroom habits. Once you mix the powder l, drink the whole thing right away because after a minute if you let it sit, it turns gooey and thick. Will continue buying this. Great product for constipation and diarrhea and hemerroids issues. It eases strain on your colon and digestive system.

I wasn't sure if this Metamucil fiber supplement would make much of a difference, but after taking it consistently, I'm really glad I decided to try it. love this product so far! the flavor is super light orange ( i think it tastes like stale fanta LOL ) so i mix it with my orange juice in the morning and i can’t even taste the difference. I would say you have to chug it though as it does get thick fairly quickly. I do have some issues with clumping so give it a GOOD stir or if you have an electric frother just use that. This product heavily controls my appetite and the food noise that i get. bang for your buck!

I’ve been using Metamucil regularly, and it’s an easy way to add more fiber to my daily routine. It mixes well, tastes good, and has helped me stay more consistent. A product I keep repurchasing.

This has been AMAZING for my health. I do 2 teaspoons in 16oz water every day. I began using this product in February after being diagnosed with high cholesterol and having GI issues. Since then, my bowels have regulated and I have lost 20 lbs (with exercise of course). I have tried other fiber supplements like Benefiber and chia seeds, as well as MiraLAX for chronic constipation but this was is by far superior. I tell all my friends that Metamucil is cheap Ozempic.
