We bought one of these for our large dog (87 pounds) who is getting older and needs the joint support. The dog loved it! So much so we just bought him a second one so he has one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The LOAOL has held up much better than two other beds we bought at the same time.The LOAOL bed is easy to unzip and wash, and easy to put back together. The lining is a great protection from wetness, and we know because as our dog licks a lot. The bolster on three sides is really great, too as it allows him to lay in different directions and still have support.We love this product and recommend it for any dog who needs some extra support, or just darn a good bed!

The only thing i dislike is that you guys don't have an extra cover to buy separately- I have bought the same one 4 years ago and my senior dog loves it- but after so many washings it still last- the reason I bought a new one because the mattress smells - that's the only down fall - other than that it has last 4 years no rips, waterproof , easy to wash. Would love to see new covers to change while the other one is washing.

So our old, obese (85lb), arthritic hound needed a new bed. We got one from the local pet chain store for a bunch of money. It lasted about two month before it was flat and gave her no support. She would rather lay on the carpet. So during a late nite Amazon search session, I ordered this. Ok, I'm impressed. It came rolled up in a vacuum sealed bag. I thought "no way this is going to work for her". A few hours later the very dense and firm foam had expanded to what you see in the pic. Hound smelled, parked her fat butt on it, and has not moved (much)..I can sit on it and not hit the floor. I zipped the cover of and I think this will be easy to clean. I'll update on wear as time passes.11-25-19 UpdateSo a quick update- we've taken of the covers and washed them and they wash up and dry beautifully. The cover comes of it two pieces, the bolster zips out and the base cushion zips out. The cushion had one "waterproof" side so be sure to put that side in oriented "up". The base cushion zips in easily. The bolster takes a little patience but it's not too bad once you push the corners back in. The zippers are smooth to operate. I just pulled the material together as I zipped it up so no cushion got caught in the zipper. Still liking this dog bed!

Updated Review: Although I am unable to purchase a replacement cover, the seller did reach out and offer to replace the bed. I do appreciate their willingness to replace the bed as it is a nice, sturdy dog bed that my dog loves.Although it is advertised that the covers are "changeable" this is far from the truth. I have had this bed for about 7 months and my dog recently tore a small hole in the cover while digging to get comfortable. I went to purchase a replacement cover for this bed just to find that one does not exist. I searched extensively for it as it is clearly advertised in the product description and customer questions that replacement covers can be purchased for this bed, but this is not true. I am highly disappointed in this as this is the only bed that I have purchased for my dog that he has not destroyed, but I did not spend $100 on a dog bed for me to have to replace the entire bed just because there is a tear in the cover. I would not recommend purchasing this dog bed if you have a dog that occasionally digs, scratches, etc. in their bed unless you plan to replace the entire bed after a tear is worn into the cover.

I bought this bed for my aging Greyhound who likes to dig in her bed. We had been buying her a new bed every 6months because she would dig until the fabric would rip. We have only had this bed for a few months now and it is clear that it will not hold up to her digging forever, but it will definitely take longer than all the other beds we have bought. And the cover is replaceable, so it makes it much easier to keep up with.The real story is that I washed the cover to the bed after only having it a couple of months and the zipper for the bolster stopped holding it's zip. So I reached out to the seller for a replacement. They were unable to send a replacement to me, but they provided a refund for the full amount to order a new cover (I had found a cover on amazon and told them the amount). It was the quickest, easiest customer service experience I have had in a long time. I will continue to purchase from this seller as I now know I will always be satisfied with their customer service.

Got this for my aging 85lb boxer. Someone said this wasn't big enough for their 40 lb medium dog. This is plenty big enough for my boy. He loves the pillow edging and the very dense memory foam. I also saw a review stating that this wouldn't work for a larger heavy dog. Again I disagree, the foam is VERY HEAVY AND DENSE. Not one single one of his pressure points sinks through the foam to the floor. It barely moves. He adores this bed! The test will be the waterproofing. The purpose for getting this was I have one cat who likes to mark wherever the dog sleeps. Poor old boy has to go without a bed until I'm able to clean it. I was hoping the outside would resist liquids but it doesnt. Haven't tested the inside. As long as it doesn't soak through to the foam it will be worth it. If not, it will defeat the purpose of me buying it. As far as fit and quality it's excellent! BTW it does take about 3 days for it to reach it's fully expanded size due to the memory foam.

Love, love love!!! My mastiff boxer mix, yes she's huge, loves her doggy couch. She has plenty of room to do her three turns before laying down. And she has not punctured the material with her digging like the last doggy bed we had. She sleeps in it every night and would gladly lay on it most of the day as well. She is large boned and we have hardwood floors so this couch is a must. We will probably order another one as she likes to hang out in my study and the large pillow I bought for her in there is not thick enough. I have washed the slip cover once already and have had no issues. It did take about 3 days to unsquish from shipping.

We love everything about the bed except … the foam only expanded about 40% after three days. We tried leaving it in a warmer room and using a fan to help the air to circulate but not seeing too much difference after another 2 days. After researching over the internet, I tried to refresh the foam with a steamer. Voila! Finally, the foam fully expanded. It’s now the favorite bed for our 80lbs GSD mix in summer. The bed (size Large) is not big enough for him to stretch his body and legs. This is not a problem for him though since he loves to sleep curled up or lays his head on the pillow just like shown in the product pictures.
