Osmo3232D 2.5 Litre Polyx Hard Wax Oil Rapid - Clear Satin

Although a different manufacturer, this really does do "exactly what it says on the tin".I used this for the first time recently on a bespoke piece of furniture, so I began applying it with nervous anticipation, as I didn't want it to wreck my hard work. I can safely say after some recommendations by other joiners and cabinet makers, I can see why they recommend it. I don't think I will go back to any other oil finish.I tried applying this with 2 coats to a scrap piece of wood. It's so easy to apply with a roller, a rag or brush. It soaks in well and leaves a nice finish within a few hours. Left overnight and with alight de-nibbing it smoothes very nicely in preparation for a 2nd coat. It really brings out the grain in the wood with a nice deep sheen. I tested it's water resistance by leaving some water drops on it, a hot drink, an ice drink and it left no markings at all, unlike other oils and waxes I've used that claim to resist liquids.I would most definitely recommend this product. Absolutely fabulous.

Amazing product, has literally revived my wooden floor, which had been dried by underfloor heating. Many previous reviews say that it darkens then wood, but only very slightly. My wooden floor looked dull, dry and lifeless and it now looks vibrant and really healthy wood colour. I have underfloor heating, which has really dried it. It says to apply it thinly and they are right; if you apply it thickly it will smear. When it dries the smears don't go away, so be careful when applying. I applied it with a sponge first and then worked it in with a cloth in the direction of the wood and it came up really well. I found this to be the best way, after a few tried and failed attempts. It dries really well in a few hours, so you can walk on it, but if you leave it overnight it will really dry out. I was able to apply another coat after 6 hours. I applied 3 coats, as the product goes such a long wayIt also seals the floor quote well. Be mindful of previous stains on the wood, as it will accentuate those. Amazing product will buy again.

I used this Oil on my pine staircase. It gave it a lovely shiny and waterproof coating without changing the colour. Brilliant stuff.

Outstanding floor oil. Easy to apply, quick to dry (6hrs ish) and looks great. I researched environmentally friendly floor oils for my new cork floor and this looked the best. The thing I like best about oil sealants are that if the floor gets scratched, you can add another coat.

Have been using osmo for years and it's an absolutely fantastic product. I order the rapid version but unfortunately was sent the standard one, haven't got time to change it so making do!

My first time using Osmo oil and I am very impressed with the result. When I opened the tin the osmo oil looked nice and thick. It is recommended that you give the contents a vigorous stir to ensure that the blend of waxes and oils are well mixed. The products goes on very easily and you can see wood grain immediately on application. It may be an expensive item but it is very economical and a little goes a long way. I highly recommend Osmo oil. The delivery was quick and the item was incredibly securely packaged which is no mean feat for a 2.5ltr tin.

Considering all the disruption with COVID19 this arrived in 24hrs very impressed. Followed the directions and discovered it was a little thick so had to wipe down excess this was easily done. Overall happy with the finish.
