It's my fourth one. The plastic always cracks for some reason. They just don't last. They work great before they break. Sharper image does not have replacement plastic attachments.

Mine that I got from target didn’t do anything it didn’t do any suction . It’s a rip off and don’t feel buying this one

My parents used to do cupping. When they did it at the time, they use glass cup and light a match to vacuum the cup. It has high difficulty and could easily burn yourself. Later on, it was changed to suction cup that you hand pump the air out. It was much easier and safer. Now we have this electric one that you don't even have to pump the air yourself! I got this massager set to help with my sore muscles and it does the job well. It has different suction levels, which is cool because I can choose how strong I want it to be. I use it after workouts, and it helps with recovery. It’s easy to use on different parts of the body. The design is simple and it fits well in my hand.

I was so excited to try this! Sharper Image has a reputation for quality, and I have wanted a cupping set of my own forever. I was ready to fall in love with it, but I have to say that while this might be good for professionals, it's not for a lay person like myself. According to the instuctions, it's preprogrammed for the lowest suction setting, but it was WAY too powerful for me. The included picture shows my shoulder on the third day and almost a week later there are still traces of bruising. I have had cupping done professionally at lease three times, and have educated myself about it through Google U. It just shouldn't take this long to heal, so I keep putting off trying it again. A light coat of massage oil is absolutely necessary for suction when using this, but it was mentioned more as a suggestion in the instructions. In fact, the instructions are pretty threadbare. If you are interested in trying different healing modalities and want to experience cupping, this isn't the place to start. Also, the description calls this a set, whereas it's one device with two cup options, just sayin'.

I like this electric cup over the manual ones because there are different modes I can use and apply heat. I like the manual ones more when I feel like I need to massage an area. This is more of a one spot for a while type tool. I do wish it came with a storage bag of some sort so I don't need to keep it all in the big box.

Never tried one before, but it seemed to work. The cupper came with 2 separate cup attachments, one large, one small. Also came with a type C charging cable. Charged unit for a couple of hours. Tried it on sciatica nerve on calve muscle and actually felt tingling in the arch of my foot, like there was increased blood flow there. Then swapped out the large cup for the small cup and tried on the arch of my foot (plantar fasciitis). Same thing, small pain, but lots of tingling, which I felt was a good sign. The unit has multiple settings on it. One for the suction level. One for the heat and one for the vibration. The unit only runs for a max of 10 minutes and instructions state to start out slow (not more than 10 minutes) just to gauge how your body reacts. So far so good.
