DecoBREEZE Fans Outdoor Misting Kit, One Size, Black

First off, I got this to cool us off in the Vegas sun while around the pool. The mist is more like droplets than a typical mister. For this & the flimsy quality of the hose assembly, i dumped a star. It was easy to install, though I had to really push on the clips to get them to clip on my fan. It appears that the clips were intended for a smaller gauge wire, but after some effort, they didn't break & clicked very solidly. I only put 2 of the clips on, since i predict they will break when I remove them for regular fan use. The hose is a cheap thin black hose similar to something you might find funding water to a slip-n-slide... super cheap. the hose is clamped on to the hose fitting with a wire clamp. I assume it's tight enough to want to cut the thin hose after some regular use. I'll end up putting something else on after that happens. The hose fitting has a little white thing in it that looks like it'd block something... I left mine in place since it was under the washer... guessing it is either a filter or pressure regulator. Obvi I didn't read any instructions, cuz I'm a dude, but just hook it up to a hose & it works. I did my hose bib at about 1/2 stream. Going to try full & see if it gets more "misty" instead of droplets. I'm happy so far, just have low expectations for durability.

Put it on an outdoor rated fan and it really worked. We did need to buy an adapter at a local hardware store since the hose connector was NOT threaded for a garden hose. Maybe ours was made with the wrong connector? I don't know, but I would have given it a better rating if not for that. Also, you may want to install a garden hose filter as this clogged after the first use. There is a restricter in the hose connector that got clogged and had to be cleaned out but that was my water problem not a defect in the item.

The media could not be loaded.  Makes hot days fun and tolerable. I have the fan sprayer hose attached to a splitter so I can just open it when I want to use it and close it when I want to just use the garden hose. Attaching the sprayer ring to the fan is a little tricky, but we find that you can just use twisties rather than zip ties which would be harder to remove if you want to take the sprayer ring off.

Works surprisingly well. Even with relatively low water pressure I think the nozzle openings are small enough to create a good mist. I like how it was ready to go when you got it out of the box. Snap it on and hook it up to a hose. The on/off valve seems to function well. make sure you have a really clean, newer hose to screw it on to because it leaks pretty easily. I even recommend using teflon tape to make it seal better. The quality of the hose is okay, it seems pretty thin walled and fragile.

Puts out a lot of water. In GA heat.... You will be wet regardless (either sweat or water). We put on back porch while grilling to keep us cool and help with bugs.It's a fine mist but not an ultra-fine mist like the more expensive sets. Don't set your phone down or have a drink without a lid unless you want water in it after a few minutes.We had purchased several with hopes to use in barns for our cattle but it would be too much water. May can use outside the barn.

So after a little work I got my mister working good. Right out of the box, the clamp that's holds the plastic tube on the copper circle sucks. It leaks really bad and, sprays water everywhere. This idea made a happy CEO produce a cheaper product, but is very poor. I had to put my own clamp to fix the problem. Also the Weld on the ring where the tube connects was not right. I was able to Solder it with a simple soldering iron and wire, to fix hole. Also the plastic clamps for mounting the ring on the fan are two small, mine busted. I just used twist ties. Perfect fix. I mounted it on a 30" oscillating fan that blows 9500 CFM's. I can feel the mister at 18 feet away. So with some modification from someone with common sense it worked out for me.

The media could not be loaded.  The ring is solid and well constructed, worked well with a cheap isolating fan. Main issue was the rubber hose connections between the ring and the garden hose fitting (slipped off w just normal water pressure). Once we obtained a valve to lower the pressure seems to work fine. Patio does get wet but not a issue here in TX. Wish the nozzles came of for cleaning but they do not.

Very good idea, the only thing I can say that sucks on this is the hose where is connects to the circle that hold the sprayers that connect to the fan.The hose keeps slipping off the metal pipe, the clamp is not strong enough to hold it on and pops off with very little water pressure, had to find a small hose clamp that I could tighten and with that, the hose leaks real bad on that piece that the flex hose goes onto with the original clamp and or my clamp I used.This is a bad design on how the hose connects to the manifold circle with the sprayers, it will have to be modified when you get it!Other wise it does do the job it says it will.

Lo instale en un ventilador y la verdad el rociado es de gotas muy grandes que te mojan, las espreas no funcionan con rociado fino que te refresque,

Como dicen los comentarios NO EMBONA A LA LLAVE sale a chorros :( ...Como otro me voy por la finta y pensé que ya se había solucionado el problema, pero se fuga de una manera impresionante

I am disappointed with the quality condition of the product. I ordered 2. One package was opened and was missing the clips to attach it to the fan screen. It was also missing the bracket that connects the hose to the fan’s stand and one of the jets was faulty.
