YONTEX 2650mAh Battery Replacement Compatible with iPhone 6S, Ultra High Capacity Li-ion Battery with Repair Tools and 1 Screen Protector

It’s been 4 months since I changed my ip6s battery and still battery health at 100%. I also used 3utool to check the manufacturer of this battery and surprisingly it’s Desay which is the original manufacturer for iPhone X and other newer models. I am at 125 charging cycle and 100% battery life currently. I will buy it again if I need. I used to charge 5 times a day with old battery but now only once a day.

I was initially going to return this item because it wasn't charging. After double checking all my connections I realized that the charging cable that I was using had gone bad after I took my phone to a tech. that checked everything and said it was charging fine. So far battery is holding 100% charge after turning my apps back on whereas before the old battery would discharge within 5-10 min..FYI...my battery arrived at below 5% charge so if you try to test your battery after connecting it back up and your phone won't turn on just give it some time to charge ( I recommend 30-60 min. with phone turned off).The reason I gave it an overall rating of four stars is because the suction cup that comes with the tool kit is absolutely worthless. I did go on YouTube and found an easy simple way to remove screen with a razor blade.MOST IMPORTANTLY....take your time when removing old battery and reinstalling new one and follow the directions on YouTube.

I bought the kit which contains all the tools needed to do the replacement. The online YONTEX video is excellent and I watched it a few times before attempting the battery replacement. It took about 40 minutes, as I took my time and did not rush anything. Charged it to 100% + 2 hours and now 2 days later am still above 40%, I used to barely get 16 hours before, and it would die if I was walking in the cold 30degree and less. New battery has + 54% extra capacityand was not really affected by the cold so far. Really very happy with this product

I have only had it installed for a few weeks but have found it to be very good. The installation was easy after viewing videos for tips and the procedure. Had trouble with the connection at first as the phone was missing the hold down plate for the connector but now have secured it with light foam rubber piece against the phone front. Have ordered the connector plate online but it is now lost in the mail! The battery life is at 100% and holds charge all day under considerable use. I'm happy I purchased this battery for replacement.

For 10 months this battery was working fine and initially I gave it 4 stars. However, recently it has been behaving erratically. During use its charge drops precipitously—dropping charge in approx. 10% increments and taking approx. 1 hr to go from 100% to 1% despite having disabled all background apps that might be using the battery. I was hoping to contact Yontex to see if they could advise on the issue. As far as I can ascertain they do not have any link to customer service if batteries are beyond 6 months old. Hoping they will read this, contact me and do the right thing. Perhaps I got a one-off poor battery and generally, their batteries are excellent and last a reasonable length of time? We'll see.

So far, I give this battery 4 stars, as it was just installed a couple days prior to writing this review. The battery that came in my 6S had been depleted to a constant 81% full capacity, and we chose to give the Yontex replacement a try. As of this writing, the Yontex has been maintaining a consistent 100% full capacity, and I ensure I drain it down to under 20% every time before I charge it.The repair kit that came with the battery was a huge plus, and it made the removal of the old battery and installation of the new one much easier. We even watched the Yontex YouTube tutorial while doing the replacement, and it was easy to follow.I cannot believe how much Apple charges to do this. The hardest part was separating the phone to break the glue seal and ensure no parts were broken during the process.As noted earlier, it's only been a few days since the battery was replaced so I cannot give 5 stars at the time of this writing, but if the battery maintains appropriate health, then I may come back to add that last star.Lastly, the shipping time was incredibly fast, as I was lucky enough for my local distribution center to have had this battery already in stock.

Quickly received a new battery for my iPhone. Although I was somewhat apprehensive about the installation, the you tube instructions and the battery installation was quite easy. The battery was received in excellent condition and has worked perfectly.The repair tools were definitely a requirement for proper installation. I highly recommend both the Yontex battery product as well as the retail supplier of the battery. Excellent value as well as excellent product!

The first one a purchased for a dead iPhone 6 didn't work. Despite my detailed efforts to follow the instructions carefully. Still, probably something I did wrong. So I ordered a second one (they are certainly cheap) and viola! It worked!
