Prequel Skin Solar Shade - Face Sunscreen SPF 46 PA++++ Moisturizing UV

I’ve been using this sunscreen for the past month, every morning as part of my daily skincare routine. I really love it. It’s a hydrating, silky liquid that sinks in quickly but leaves a lovely dewy finish. Makeup goes on top well without any sort of pilling or texture issues. I prefer sheer coverage “foundation” products like a skin tint or tinted moisturizer, and this works well with all the products I’ve tried. I’ve been wearing this since the end of July, so probably the four hottest (and sunniest) weeks of the year where I live, and this has provided great protection for everyday life. I tried this at the pool one day, and unfortunately it didn’t hold up while actively swimming/lounging in the water. It doesn’t claim to be water proof or water resistant, but I wanted to test it out, and I’ll just say it runs and stings your eyes, so heavy sweating or swimming would be a no-go for this product. I also have pretty sensitive skin, and have had no issues at all with this irritating my skin. Overall, I’m very impressed with this for my every day sunscreen.

Probably one of my new favorite chemical sunscreens. It's hard to find a chemical spf that doesn't burn when applied around my eyes, but this prequel sunscreen doesn't do that at all. I can apply this all over my face and under my eyes, and it doesn't burn like a lot of chemical sunscreens do for me. On top of that, it give a beautiful, gorgeous natural/glowy finish to my skin that I LOVE. I also love the fluid texture of this spf; it's so lightweight, moisturzing, and easy to spread across the skin. Best of all, the sunscreen doesn't smell (literally smells like nothing) and it's not crazy expensive! Highly highly recommend. I'm repurchasing this for sure.

Love the sunscreen! It’s not as shiny in my face as some others I’ve used. I put it on and then dap sunscreen powder (different brand) in it to take away any shine I might still have. I haven’t gotten burnt yet and work outside everyday on our farm. I also love the glycerin face wash by Prequel!! Absolutely wonderful line. Thank you!!

Glides on skin, doesn't burn eyes, no white cast, shiny finish but not greasy.

Too heavy/greasy feeling for my oily prone skin. I gave it to my daughter who has dryer type skin and she seems to like it. I did notice after awhile of wear she looked oily but she didn’t seem bothered by it.

I’ve been using the Prequel SPF and it has quickly become my go-to sunscreen! It’s so lightweight and hydrating, and it doesn’t leave a white cast at all. I love how it sits perfectly under makeup—it doesn’t pill or make my foundation slide off, which is amazing. My skin feels soft and moisturized all day, and I feel good knowing I’m getting that sun protection too. It’s not greasy or heavy, so I don’t even notice I’m wearing it. If you’re looking for a sunscreen that plays well with makeup and keeps your skin feeling healthy, I definitely recommend this one!
