Irwin Marples Ms500 S/Touch Be Chisel 1.In 10501708

Top quality Irwin 1 inch wood chisel which is comfortable to use and has strike through features which protect the handle. The chisel arrived sharp although I gave it a little hone to sharpen it further, it also comes with a blade protector which is good and stays on while getting bumped around in the tool bag.

I bought this to use in my general site box, so I don't need to use my good chisels for rough work. Upon arrival, I decided to give this a quick hone as I do will all my chisels from factory. And within doing so I was pleasantly surprised with how sharp and true the chisel blade is. Using it at work is a pleasure, almost feel bad for using such a good chisel for rough work, but Irwin is yet to let me down. Excellent value for money.

A well priced, good quality chisel. Perhaps not the first choice for a skilled craftsman, but more than adequate for mere mortals like myself.

Nice chisel, feels comfortable and was already sharp. Very nice.

Worked great until I used it on concrete but still managed that ok 😂. I’m a plumber so this is allowed.
