Great for making Eggs Benedict!
I love making Eggs Benedict, so I wanted some pre-prepared Hollandaise Sauce to use. I made my own bain-marie by putting the sauce in a glass bowl above a half-filled pot of simmering water (making sure the water doesn't touch the bowl). I then gently warmed the sauce and added a little water to thin it out slightly. I found that two tablespoons of the sauce was enough to pour on each egg. The second time I used it I added a little fresh black pepper and cayenne pepper, but it's also nice without the extra seasoning. Each jar lasts me three rounds of Eggs Benedict (a round of Eggs Benedict being two eggs on separate muffin halves). One thing about the sauce is that it isn't particularly lemony, but I don't mind as it still tastes great, is easy-to-use and it's perfect with Eggs Benedict.

Nice salad cream!
Finally the Atkins & Potts Hollandaise Sauce arrived after taking about a week longer than expected, so it was with great excitement that I set about creating my “Jamie Oliver” Eggs Benedict. All went well, then I applied the magic ingredient from Atkins & Potts.“Nice salad cream!” came the reply from my partner. And she was right. The sauce tastes very, very strongly of salad cream. Perhaps I shouldn’t have been so lazy and actually made the sauce from scratch.......maybe next time.

Really good!
I usually go out for eggs benedict, but COVID-19 means I stay at home. I've been trying a few different types of ready made hollandaise sauce, including the fresh chilled sauce from Waitrose, and the "Maille" brand. The Atkins & Potts sauce is the best. Each bottle has enough sauce for probably six eggs. Love it!

Not much flavour
Not like other Hollandaise sauces I’ve had, not much flavour. Won’t buy again

Ideal for accompaning subtle tastes.
Very delicate - not at all like the over-flavoured products to be found in the supermarkets (Maille etc)

Dreadful Flavour
I wanted a short cut to make Eggs Benedict / Eggs Royale and this seemed appealing as it was highly rated. I only wish I'd taken the time to read through the reviews. Several customers have reported that this tastes like Salad Cream and they are spot on.There is barely any flavour of lemon which is disappointing but the major issue with this is its bizarre sweetness. I checked the ingredients list and, sure enough, it's had sugar added to it. A hefty amount by the taste of it.With beautiful ham slices and fresh eggs at the ready, I was looking forward to this meal but it was ruined with this dreadful sauce. The manufacturers don't get this completely wrong, however. It has a good consistency, it's silky smooth and it's got a slight gloss. If they go back to the test kitchen and look at what's gone wrong with the seasoning they could come up with a really good product.
