Stardew Valley mixed with Studio Gibli
Personally, I love it. It is relaxed, interesting and a lot of fun. Best of all, I could see this being easy enough to play for a 6 year old (no violence, you cant die, everything is solved peacefully and the game is easy without being condecending, though reading is necessary). I wasnt the biggest fan of the art style at first, but it grows on you and the music is really relaxing and enjoyable. I started playing planning only to start the game and play for a few minutes... and now its 30 hours later and Ive finished the main story. So if you like Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley or Slime Rancher, then this is definately the game for you, its mechanics and gameplay are similar but with a Studio Gibli feel, though it is a shorter game. HOWEVER, I have run into a couple glitches and issues with the game. The only reason why this did not lower my score is that I emailed the issues Ive had to the developers and they actually replied within a couples days. They have an update coming out in a couple weeks to solve the issues Ive had as well as some others that I havent. So the developers customer service is great too!

Amazing, loaded with fun tasks and exploration, non-violent, and has amazing graphics.
I'm a total newb to the gaming thing !! Old person.... bought a switch!!!What a great distraction from the seriousness of trying to make a living and pay bills and do chores 24/7.I bought a few non-violent, non-bloody games. One was wayyy to sensitive (at the lowest setting), haven't tried 2 of them yet, because I'm kinda busy loving Yonder!Excellent learning curve, beautiful graphics, and I might be busy with accomplishing a whole lotta missions for many months yet to come while running around all over this continent doing things like finding someone's lost animals, busting up rocks, cutting down trees, bringing lumber to towns, going fishing, mining gems, bartering to save towns, and running a farm. And saving the continent from horrible purple haze with the help of magical creatures you earn along the way. Busy stuff! Great game! I wish work was this fun!

Relaxing Fun Exploring Game
You explore chop trees plant trees smash rocks build things farm crops collect animals Help people out. Look for sprites to clear Murk away. Murk is the bad stuff in the story. Look for cats. Which they can be found in day or night only. Not told that in game so I ended up looking that online somewhere cause cats are small is like needle in hay stack. Trade goods is the shopping. There's no money just value of every item and trade valued items to equal or more. There's seasons and weather. And Halloween in clothing town area during Fall only. The main story isn't that long but the land is quite big so there's lot to wonder about and look at. You learn recipes to make things like food, barns and clothes and hair colors and more. Graphics aren't super detailed but you get used to that. I've played worse graphic games. The game time moves fast so its day and night often and the months fly by. By the time I finished 6 years went by in the game. And you hold a lantern in the dark which is cool but still hard to see things looking for. The layout of the menu could be better the one i used the most could have been second not in the middle. And when looking for planting tree spots the grass or dirt would sometimes shift in the graphics so then they would become impossible to see which isn't good for trying to find plant spot for all trees to get 100% happiness. The worst problem I encountered was that the game would just suddenly close. It did seem like it happened a lot but usually just once each time I played it for the day. Once it did it for that day it didn't seem to do it again till I stopped playing and came back to play again. Like it doesn't like going into sleep mode. So I made sure to save it myself often. It does have a auto save but I just did the other save too to be safe. It also did this weird thing when I rotated the screen it was not smooth like a stuttery but when I closed the game and restarted it did go away. I had it twice. And the after the first auto shut off the screen alignment was off. The L on the left was off screen and the bottom of the screen was cut off too. It wasn't like that the first time I played it. Not sure why it changed but it wasn't that big of a deal I could still read what the date was. And the only part in the game I didn't like was the trolls telling me how horrible this game was. WHY would you put that in your game!!! SO i just got rid of the trolls by making them all my farm helpers. Can't see farm helpers so its like they're not in the game that way. Still was fun collecting everything and I over did the crops so was able to pretty much trade for anything and I cant help but pick everything up I see lol. I'm a hoarder so the storage could have been much bigger especially the main backpack. They could add more things to build there's a few spots that could use more bridge shortcuts and such. Needs add more clothes and backpacks. Maybe coloring the clothes and backpacks too. I would like some other backpacks since it's your characters back you'll see the most. I haven't connected online to see about any updates for the game yet. Will do but is fun without anything so far. Gonna start a new game already cause it's fun. And just talking about it I already want to play it.

Relaxing, Lighthearted Game
At first I was a little iffy on getting Yonder, because I read reviews saying that this was a good children's game (ages under 10) and others where adults had tried it out and either hated/enjoyed it. I've seen people loosely comparing it to Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing in that it's a relaxing game with no combat, you complete quests for people and you can farm (which, you don't even have to do that if you don't want to!). But it feels really different from those games altogether. I felt like it had a little more of a My Sims vibe, in that there aren't many NPCs in the world (probably because of the Murk driving the citizens of the Kingdom away) and it sometimes feels empty. But the more I played and complete quests, the less empty it felt. The world itself is also HUGE, with chests and resources hidden everywhere. I've clocked 10 + hours into it already and feel like I haven't even scratched the surface on exploring the island. When I pick it up, I end up playing for 4 to 5 hours because it's just hard to put it down; there's always another small task I can complete or I just need to find one more thing and it ends up being an hour or two later. If you like a more relaxing game that you can play after a long day at work Yonder would definitely be a good choice.

Great game for kids
My 11 year old daughter loved this game. No villains so they can just roam around and play. Beautiful graphics and a nice big map.

Divertido y relajante

Good exploring and collecting game.
Interesting game & addicting fetch quests and crafting system, the enemies are strange and is some kind of evil clouds that block you from entering different parts of the map, so in order to remove these clouds you have to find these spirits hidden within the game and collect enough of them to unlock that specific area. The issue I have with this game is I think it's an import, because when I tried to register my game in the rewards system on my switch, it said I was unable to receive my reward coins. Keep that in mind if that sort of thing bothers you. Overall I'm having a good time with the game and I recommend it.
