I am a little bit of a snob when it comes to flashlights. Generally speaking I carry Surefire lights. I am in a line of work where my equipment is essential to my being able to go home at the end of the day. This light, however, looked interesting and I decided to try it out. It seems to be well build and pretty intuitive to use. I like the lockout feature. I carry the light as a backup light in my pocket at work and being able to locking out means that I don't really worry about it turning on in my pocket if my gear or something bumps the button. The different light levels are good. I like it has a strobe feature. The display is very helpful, showing the light level and battery level. I would consider buying it again or maybe a similar model.

I love this flashlight. It has several levels of brightness, a strobe mode, a guage showing your charge level. A slide lock to prevent accidently leaving it on. I just feels good in your hand and because it is flat it fits in tight places. I bought some new shoes/slippers. They were killing me, looked inside saw and felt nothing. Stuck the flashlight in there with my cell phone and found the issue. No room with a regular flashlight. It has a nice belt clip. I use this flashlight all of the time because it is so compact. It is just so much better than any of other 10 flashlights I own and it is rechargable. You will absolutely love this flashlight.

I have never used any nitecore products until recently since their products started appearing on my feed. I bought this flashlight as my EDC and I was not disappointed in the quality, fit and finish of the flashlight. The build is of excellent quality and it does not feel cheap like others I have used. The flashlight is easy to use. It's bright on the highest setting of 2500 lumens with a good throw and it is also very useful on the lowest setting when brightness isn't required. The buttons on the top of the flashlight function and seem like they will last a long time even if they go through some beating and rough usage. I work as an armed transit driver and this is perfect for me in all aspects. The screen is a nice touch because I am able to see what setting I am in and how much battery I have left. I love that this is a USB C type charging device. I think what really sold me on it was the fact that it has a safety switch. I have used other flashlights that tend to turn on in the pocket and burn my thighs. Since owning this product, I have not had it once turn on accidentally in my pockets. The clip on it doesn't feel cheap either. Overall the flashlight is of good quality and materials, and the functionality make is easy to use even for the novice user diving into the world of EDC flashlights.

I’d like to start off by saying, I am a flashoholic. Now that is out of the way on to the review. This was my first “NITECORE” product. I payed full price which isn’t a big deal since I planned on carrying it everyday. It came and I started wearing it right away, it wasn’t even 3 months and I started having issues with the button not responding. It was kind of glitchy, it was not cycling through properly, it would not turn on, it would not turn off etc. I contacted Nitecore and they ended up sending me a new light, stating that when they received my light it was in fact not operating properly ( which kind of struck me as they didn’t believe me). The light I currently have which is the replacement they sent me also worked flawlessly for around 3-5 months. And then started doing the EXACT same thing! As in right now the light will not turn on, it just cycles through the levels and does nothing. So it sits in my drawer fully charged while I bought the wurkkos HD01 Pro which was half the money and has tons more options as a replacement. This light looks good but eventually will stop working! Look elsewhere. Oh, it also sits really high in your pocket….

I use this flash light all the time. As the name states it is my EDC and is always in my pocket. About the same size as a standard pocket knife. The adjustability of the intensity level with the two button system is nice. However, the button has started to not respond right. Originally it is a half click to change intensity and a full click to turn on/off. Now when pressing it does not want to change intensity and will do so on a full click therefore not always turning on the light. I would quickly buy again but at the price I can not afford to buy one when the button only last for a couple months of use. I continue to carry every day but find it frustrating to have to press the button sometimes 10X to get the light to turn on while also shuffling thru intensity settings. The turbo mode still works as designed but often is too bright for low light use and is on a timer by default. The full lockout slider works great and is a nice feature to have. If there was no issue with the button this would be 5 stars and 10/10 recommend.

I was looking for a small EDC flashlight to attach to my backpack. This flashlight has worked great when needed. It's very easy to turn on and cycle through brightness levels. It also feel pretty solid for a flashlight that is so small. My only concern is the non user replaceable battery. For the cost and my needs the pros outweigh the one potential con.

This light is the perfect balance between size and performance. The buttons are easy to learn so that looking at it is not required. The only drawback I’ve seen so far is that the momentary press of the button that sticks out is getting less sensitive over time

I’m not sure what more you could ask for in an EDC flashlight. It’s tiny (smaller than I expected even), super powerful, good features and a long battery life. I suppose you could go with one of the higher lumen models but this is plenty powerful at its diminutive size - bigger wouldn’t be worth it for me.

One of my new favourite flashlights. The physical lock on this is great peace of mind. The output is amazing and the mode selection is easy enough for anyone to get used to. Easy to carry on a belt, pocket, or sling.
