Perfect warm rain boots for wide calves
I am a 5'7" female with wide 18" calves, and these boots work perfectly with tall socks and my pants tucked in. I had almost given up hope of finding rain boots that fit so I was thrilled when these arrived. They fit great (size 11 for me) and they're fur-lined, which kept me toasty slogging through the slush this winter. They're nice and sturdy, and they also look really cool. I love the soles and the gray color I got was super cute. I've gotten lots of compliments and if they were a little less expensive I'd probably buy more!

My favorite boots
It's been years since I've owned rain boots. But I started a job at an elementary school and I had outside dismissal duty every afternoon. Rain or shine. I wanted boots that were comfortable, easy to pull on quickly, and warm. These are PERFECT. They are extremely well made. The lining keeps my feet warm and snug, and keep all the wet out. They're still going strong and if they ever fall apart, I will definitely be getting a replacement pair on that day.

Great for those athletic calves.
I'm 5'2", small build, muscular legs, and these fit nicely over my calves in a way that most other rain boots don't. I have no trouble getting my jeans or leggings or heavy socks down inside, and they don't rub or chafe. They're comfortable for a quick trip out, but I wouldn't wear these on an 8-mile hike. Save your Vibrams for that. Sturdy, warm (even without SmartWool), and easy to get on and off. HIGHLY recommend, especially for our sloppy PNW days.

Poor Fit
I'd tried on a pair in a local retail store & liked them, but they were expensive so I decided to buy them online. The item description is exactly the same as the ones I tried on in-store except for the colour. However, the boots I received were so shapeless, as soon as I took them out of the box, I knew they wouldn't fit. The front of the boot was so flat, it pressed on my toes & was uncomfortable. The heel of the boot was very wide, so my foot lifted up with every step as if I was wearing flip flops. The lining also was much thinner than the fluffy lining that was in the ones I tried on in-store. I was very disappointed with the boots, but the return was hassle-free and the refund was processed very quickly. Two stars for the boots, 5 stars for customer service.

These are great!
I needed a rubber boot that I could wear without having to put on socks. These are perfect. The lining is very soft. The entire boot is lined with this "fur", even the part under the insole. They do run a bit small, not a big deal for me since I don't wear socks in them anyway, but if you're planning on putting on your thick wool socks first, order a size up. The tread is decent, not so deep that they become giant mud magnets and not so smooth that I'm slipping and sliding around in the mud. They are not too snug around my giant calves, I can still cram the hem of my jeans in there to keep my pants clean. Overall, they are exactly what I was looking for.

These boots are perfect.
I was looking for boots like this for the past couple winters. I wanted something "wintery", totally waterproof, without laces (basically a lined galosh), and not ugly or cheap-looking. I didn't even know I was looking for these boots until I found them! I love the color. They are so comfortable. They keep my feet dry and warm. (and I live in Wisconsin!) They fit my style perfectly, which is something I had trouble finding in a functional women's boot.SIZING: I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 (tending toward 8.5), and I ordered a 9 because other reviews said to order a size up. The 9s fit perfectly.

Perfect cold weather rain boots
These are a little wide in the toe, but it's perfect for layering socks and layers. The shoe also comes with removable insoles which are also covered with wool, which I took out because I have a high arch and the insoles added height within the boot. It is nice to have the option though, and the insoles are nice so I put them in another pair of boots that are too big! Also I had a little trouble with the wool shedding onto my clothes the first wear, but after that it did not do it again.

Disappointed
These were cute, and the fur lining is great, and cozy, but they were a littletoo small, and I wasn't happy with the way they fit. They're really boxy, with not a lot of shape in the toe box. I have wide feet anyway, but these made them look like duck feet or something! The shafts also flexed when I walked, and cut uncomfortably into my ankle. I'm sure they would have given me blisters had Ikept them. The lining would probably keep your feet pretty warm in a cold rain, but for me, I tend to wear my rain boots when it's warmer, and my winter boots if it's cold. These would just be too hot to wear in warmer weather.
