WORTH IT (SO FAR)
(LEFT SCREEN - TN PANEL 144HZ GAMING MONITOR / RIGHT SCREEN - MBEST MONITOR) After significant testing, I came to the conclusion that this monitor is WELL worth the price. Very fast compared to other VA panels, but NOT as fast as TN monitor.. and for a good reason. If you're an extreme shopper like me, you MUST consider differences between the technology used behind these monitors. I have studied this for months. TN is old technology - if you want frame speed, you must sacrafice depth in color. TN is ideal for fast-paced FPS/competitive games. AH-VA; however, is a "sister" to IPS. AH-VA is NOT identical to VA. With the MBEST monitor, you will sacrafice SOME depth of color compared to VA's, but not with TN. You also sacrafice a weee bit of and lag. I must note that the MBEST monitor is VERY fast (or equal) compared to other IPS.. if not, the same. It is far more better than VA. (DON'T GET VA IF YOU'RE GAMING.. TRUST ME!)My only con with this monitor is that there is relevant small ghosting. NOT noticeable of you are an average gamer. Through definitive testing, I came to the conclusion that only a minimal amount of lag is apparent when viewing the MBEST screen compared to an ACER TN panel screen (in slow motion). Will this affect your gaming? It depends. If you are anal about SPEED and definitive frame-bt-frame trandition, then it is NOT for you. Nor any other IPS or VA. BUT... if you want to game somewhat seriously, yet also worried about the color profiles, then this is your monitor. If you want to EDIT via Photoshop or edit videos, this is the monitor for you.The only implications behind this review are the monitors used, and time of ownership. I will update my review should anything occur. Both were tested using 144hz rf, same resolution (1440p); albiet, the left TN screen is 1080p native.-- OTHER CONS:The adapter is NOT as customizable; however, you are able to pivot it vertically. Not a big deal for me. Plus it includes input holes for any universal stand.Menu sux. (Who really cares?)Sound sux. (Again.. who plays sound via monitors??)Asian knock-off (I am unsure of the quality control of these. So far so good.. no dead or frozen pixels. Smooth as butter.

BEST VALUE 2K 144Hz MONITOR. This monitor competes with way more expensive modals with virtually no sacrifices!!!
I Bought this after a month of searching. One of my favorite tech tube channels Level 1 Techs did a great review that you can check out here https://youtu.be/kstjJtntFE8 . Needless to say after watching that review my search was over. THE MONITOR WAS AT MY DOOR IN 4 DAYS!!! Everything is in perfect condition with no dead pixels. And it just keeps getting better, the picture is that of a way more expensive MSI, or ASUS. No jokes or exaggeration! The picture is crisp, clear and bright. And the refresh rate is awesome! It actually goes up to 165Hz. Don't hesitate if you are searching for a high quality 2K 144Hz monitor. I highly recommend.P.s. The almost nothing input lag is real!! I have it next to my 27in Samsung and the difference is noticeable how fast this monitor is!

Fantastic Freesync Monitor
Great colors, bright picture, backlight bleed is even and comparable to my LG IPS monitors it is replacing. Smooth as silk. 60hz looks stuttery in comparison, even I was initially skeptical of 144hz but seeing is believing. You will have to set the refresh rate to 144-165hz in the windows settings and turn on Freesync in the monitor menu to fully enjoy the benefits of this monitor. No dead pixels (yet). The only other thing is the VESA mounting position is lower than most standard monitors, take that into account when mixing and matching monitors. Otherwise its a terrific monitor, I am 100% satisfied.

M’best is best (until it isn't)
I had bought a nixeus edg27 before this and it arrived broke in flimsy packaging. I returned it for this Mbest monitor and I am so happy I did. The Mbest is packaged very sturdily and my panel had no defects on arrival. This panel is as good or better (it may be the same panel) than the nixeus with much smaller bezels. I was skeptical how much the bezel thickness would matter but I have come to appreciate it when using multiple monitors. The vesa mounting holes are not in the middle of back so I am actually using the monitor upside down to compensate. The menu setting are not the best but who cares, they are the mbest for the price point. The free sync range is down to 30fps or thereabouts so my Vega can wheeze on into the future free from frame rate drops. update edit Feb. 2020: monitor died after pretty constant usage at 144hz. back light turn on and monitor wakes from standby mode but no onscreen menu is available and no image is displayed. was good while it lasted. half the price, quarter the life. i am back to using a still perfectly functioning dell 2005fpw. my foray into bargain monitors is hereby over.

Great monitor with a few small issues
Pros: it is a great screen for the price. Good luck finding a 1440p 144hz screen for less than 400 bucks. The colors are good and playing games on it is a delight. Menu is in English.Cons: came with a dead pixel and doesn’t include hdmi cable. The stand is mediocre.Overall I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to any wine looking to play games on 1440p and 144hz on a budget.

Great for high resolution high refresh rate gaming
This is the cheapest 1440p 144hz monitor available, and it is very good for $300. Level1Techs had a positive review for it and so I decided to buy this one. I use this monitor for games including competitive shooters where high refresh and fast response times are important, and this monitor holds up. Just a great looking monitor that is very fast. It has minimal backlight bleed and came with no stuck/dead pixels. I heard about the issues with cheap displayport cables so I bought a $20 certified DP cable instead of the one that came with the monitor. Overall, this is a great monitor for the price.

Garbage
Had these monitors for two and a half years (July 2018). One died after one year, got it repaired, died again about 4 months later. Second monitor died today (December 2020). Complete garbage.
