Q: Why does it say 100% xilytol when the first ingredient in the list is "Edulcorant"?

I looked this up and "Edulcorant" is French for 'Sweetener'. My Miradent tube (produced in Germany) gives the Ingredients as: Xylitol,Gum Base, Aroma, Glycerin, Acacia Senegal,Malic Acid, (Soy-) Lecithin, Cl77891, Cera Alba. I can only surmise your tube prefixes the sweetener Xylitol to describe what is is :)

Q: Is this gum suitable for dentures?

I say yes, as it doesn't go sticky and also the taste goes away very quickly so you are unlikely to be chewing for longer than approx 3 min.
