Great tent for camping novices.
I am a camping novice and apart from knowing how to put away a 2 man pop up tent I am completely inexperienced in camping. Yesterday I erected my first tent the Rydal 500 and it was surprisingly less complicated than I expected. Colour coded poles and slots to guide you. An abundance of pegs and concise but clear instructions. The only negative was a lack of instructions in now to fold up the thing when you want to pack up. It definitely took longer to put away and had to be rolled up a few times to get it the correct size for the bag.Apart from that I am very happy.

Great
Lovely and roomy. Hasn't had to withstand rain yet, so no idea how the waterproofing will hold up. I like the sewn-in groundsheet though, good for keeping bugs and (probably) water out. Plenty of living space, TONS of storage. Easy for two people (one of which was pretty rubbish!) to put up - actually, one person did pretty much most of the work easily on their own! Not light, but then if you want a multi-bedroom tent you can stand up in, well, you can't really have everything - at least not at this price point.

Love, love, love! ๐
This tent ticks every box for me, quick delievery and no faults at all! Bedroom is big enough for a large double air bed without the room divider up, with plenty of floor space still available. Living area has plenty of room for basic camping equipment, table, units and chairs. It is a perfect family tent! ๐๐ผ

Fantastic family tent for camping and festivals
The Rydal 5 is a fantastic family tent for camping and festivals - we bought it earlier this year and its had plenty of use already, its very easy to put up with only 3 poles and its up as a complete tent so no 'faffing about' with extra internal sections. There is full standing room, the sleeping area is darkened which is great helping the children sleep and the front open area has plenty of room for the family together with table chairs and storage. All round - a great tent for all uses.

this tent is not waterproof, not good if you live in Scotland, leaks everywhere

Easy set up
Great family tent with loads of space and so far water tight. Only complaint is there is no mesh on the main doors meaning if doors are open midges get in keep the doors closed then thereโs no ventilation on warm days. Tents like a sauna

Happy camping
Used for 3 night camping trip for the first time it was easy to put up it's a good size and has pre attached bedroom compartments so no hassle with anything. during the 3 nights we had strong wind ( not gale force but quite blustery and the tent never moved we also had a full day of heavy rain and the tent remained completely dry. No issues at all with condensation either. Packing away was a breeze aswell the tent is very lightweight material and rolls up easy straight back into the bag. I'd recommend to anybody it's fab for the price

Leaked all over!
Bought mine yesterday and felt pleased with the dimensions and ease of pitching etc. I left it erected in the garden overnight. We had heavy rain and the tent leaked in eight places including the bedroom area! Going to have to check out the weather forecast before camping in it and won't book with sites in advance.
