These are not rocks, their mostly tiny little stones, although they are bigger than most aquarium gravel. They work well as a biological filter in ponds and aquariums. I used these in my pond filters as well as in the waterfall bin to help improve the water quality. Each box has three separately packaged bags which is nice because you don't have to open the entire package at once. These tend to float if they escape your filter, so be sure they are contained. If placing in a waterfall bin, you can use a mesh bag to keep them together, and the same for some filters, etc.

It has been doing a good job of cleaning algae and extending the the need to clean the filter, We are satisfied completely with Laguna's products

I got this for my mesh bag. It holds down the lighter stuff on the bottom, holding the mesh bag. The sponge thingy and the plastic thingy.

Might be ok for pond....pieces to small fir aquarium filter

Je l'ai utilisée dans mon aquarium pour faire une filtration biologique. A parfaitement fait sa fonction au bout de quelques jours.Seul tout petit bémol : des matières qui ne sont pas de la pouzzolane et qui semblent être du bois sont mélangées et il faut les enlever car elle flottent à la surface de l'eau. Sinon impeccable et à recommander.

Produit conforme, granulométrie fine 0.3 convient pour la plupart des filtres externes, naturellement pas encore assez de recule pour tester l'efficacité.
