Clear and pleasantly chilled nose
I sometimes wake up at night with a stuffy nose. That's hitting 50 for you... (sigh). I keep this under my pillow, so it's easy to get hold of when I'm half asleep. A quick whiff and it does the job, so I can fall back to sleep again with a clear and pleasantly menthol-refreshed cool nose.

It takes time to work. But it is not as effective as a nasal spray. Do not share with others for hygiene reasons. The cooling sensation of the inhaled vapour is very relaxing!

My sister and I have have nicknamed this vic-cane (much to Mums disgust) as we both suffer with sinus trouble which can make you feel very lethargic. This instantly relieves the pressure and perks us up.

Very good replacement for the old Vicks Inhaler
So apparently the old Vicks inhaler sold in the US was being used for unintended purposes and discontinued (do a google search) which sucks for the 99% people that used it to breathe a little better. I tried this as a replacement and it's different but works very well. Has three active ingredients listed; Menthol, Pine Needle Oil, and Camphor (from wikipedia, comes from a pine tree but can be man made too).Burns a little (no more than the original), sneeze, sneeze, get the tissues ready.It's not the original but not a bad replacement.

Better than all the cough syrups and vapo rubs and is easily carried in the pocket to use throughout the day.
Just like the original VICKS inhaler formerly sold in the USA., which is no longer sold in the USA due to the "cocaine" addicts use of this valuable item for allergies and colds and sinus congestion. This is sold in the UK and it takes several days to arrive but it is worth the wait. It is actually Made in Germany and licensed to the UK. It has methol, camphor, methy salicylate and Siberian pine tree oil. And it does make you breath easier. I keep several on hand and unopened until I need them. The ones from India are a poor substitute so beware. Yes it costs a little over $5 American but it is worth that amount to have something that works. You can still go to work as long as you carry one of these in your pocket. It makes a cold bearable as it gives instant relief without any dangerous ingredients.

Good for opening the sinus
For anyone who has sinus problems, this is fantastic. Inhale, and you can breathe again. Works just as well as they did when I was a kid.

It is a sweet little inhaler
Well, we will probably never find the old Vicks again but this comes the closest.The old Vicks would make your head pull back with a slight sniff. It was so strong it would instantly open up an airway, (right to the brain I think) while you tried to catch your breath. You could never put it in your nose and breath and breathe . And that feeling would stay there for a few minutes. This one, you can keep in your nose if you wanted. It seems more menthol than eucalyptus. It is a sweet little inhaler, not the kick butt one we remember from Vicks.

Good stuff!
I like using inhalers when my nose is stuffed up; nose drops are OK, but don't always help the stuffiness. Vicks inhaler has a great menthol scent, which really clears up my nose and sinuses.
