Tackform Industrial Metal Drill Base Tablet Mount [Enduro Series] - iPad Holder for Wall or Truck. ELD Mount | Compatible with iPad mini, IPad Pro 12.9, Galaxy S, Surface Pro & Switch

Probably not your typical use case, but I bought one these 6 years ago for my recording studio so I could use an iPad as an extra screen for VO work. It’s built like a tank. Not sure how many times I’ve had to adjust it (for myself or a client), and once tightened it doesn’t budge. Super easy to install, and it’s pretty compact for the amount of options it provides. It isn’t the prettiest thing in the room, but it just works.

Great product and construction

Outstanding mount for my Ipad at the helm station on my boat. Time tested. Over a year in and no issues. Very adjustable and secure. Well worth the cost.

Made well and will work well for holding our tablet in our side by side

This is rated 4/5, only because I only found out AFTER buying a second piece off amazon to make this longer, that the tackform website had way more options than are on Amazon. I understand that Amazon is kind of a bad deal for sellers, but I wish there had been some indication that there was a 12" arm available before buying the 7" one listed here. I would advise anyone buying this product to check the website before ordering here for that reason. Also, be aware that if you plan to lengthen it, you will need a 20mm-20mm ball attachment that was ALSO not available on amazon. I wish I knew beforehand so I could have saved some money and time getting what I wanted. I usually would not review a product this quickly out of caution for it breaking, but I don't think this one will. I think the only point of potential failure on it is the piece that holds the tablet. Everything else is solid metal.I bought this to serve as basically an eisle for my ipad to draw on, as I have a pinched nerve that won't let me sit at a desk, and it serves it's purpose well. It's been a couple weeks of using in it's completed state, it and I have no complaints about the product itself. I attached it to the wall and this + the addition of the 12" arm has the total length at around 20". There are some angles that have minor slippage, but it is even at that length, stable enough that it will stay in place pretty well even while being drawn upon without needing to be braced in any way. This product is more expensive than pretty much all the other tablet arms I saw listed here, but the quality definitely reflects that. You can buy the longer arm attachment as an add-on for what it costs to order the cheaper ones first and have them break on you. Just check all the modular options for what you need and buy this one and save yourself the trouble.

If You’re looking for mounting bracket for Your tablet just STOP!!!!!! right now!!! This thing is absolutely amazing!!!I was looking for something for my semi truck that is solid, holds vibrations, stady so my tablet won’t fly all over my cab.Options with adjustable arm are endless, they are metal!!!,simple and actually beautiful design. So many options with different sizes of actual arms that will hold any size of Your tablet.Spring inside it’s so strong that Your tablet won’t go anywhere!!! I barely write any reviews, but this product definitely deserves one from me and 11 stars! I don’t care how much it cost but it’s worth every penny and You won’t be disappointed! Amazing seller!

I've biught several of these over the years for all my trucks. Best quality tablet mount! After about 1.5 2 years the balls lose stability but that's to be expected after heavy usage daily. HIGHLY recommend.

Very solid, stable, sturdy. I have it on a piece of construction equipment and it holds an 11" tablet no problem! Installation was a breeze. Only thing I recommend is putting an extension in the combo. But they are not expensive.

The only thing I didn't like is that it did not come with screws or nuts and bolts to fasten the base plate

It's well constructed but far from being heavy-duty. Things worked out for my use but it was excessively overpriced.
