Active Glow Raspberry Nail Concealer Nail Polish Care

This product is easy to apply - the brush provides smooth coverage. It dries very quickly. And the raspberry color is faint so I put on 3 coats in a very short time. It looks very pretty. Sure, $20 is pretty steep price, but to me it is worth it!

This polish is amazing. I've been trying to heal, strengthen and grow my natural nails after years of acrylic and press ons. My nails are damaged and they look awful. I was about to give up and go to the nail salon when I saw an ad for this. I ordered Blueberry and it's a light pink with kind of a bluish undertone after a few coats. I find that 3 coats gives me the coverage I need and 4 gives me the perfect color. It also makes my nails hard, the tips feel so strong with this on. I wear it for a week and then redo them. It comes off with a swipe of nail polish on a cotton ball. I may just use this forever, because I really love how they look.

I started with Manicurist Keratin and Masque. After three weeks my nails still had some ridges but the nails were stronger and growing longer than they have in years. I purchased the Raspberry Glow polish. It has been on my nails for a week. Nail polish never lasts on me for more than a day without chipping or wearing off. I love this polish. I love all the products I’ve tried from Manicurist. It’s a little pricey but it worked for me. I love that it is 85% plant based. Thank you Manicurist!

Update 9/14/25: The company saw my review (which is still relevant so I will leave it) and fully refunded my money without me even having to ask. At the very least I can say if you are unsatisfied with the purchase the polish comes with great customer service. This changed my rating from 2 stars to 3. Lots of people seem to have luck with this polish so perhaps it is just incompatible with certain types of nails🤷🏻‍♀️ Original review: I really wanted this to be a beneficial and healthy polish for my nails. It made my nails look so healthy and glowing! It’s super easy to apply, dries within minutes and because it’s not deeply colored you can’t notice if your polish is wearing off a bit. It creates a glow that mimics healthy nail color that I can’t achieve with any other product. This checked all possible boxes for me in terms of appearance directly after applying. I thought I had found my new daily polish and I was so excited. But then….. A week into using this my nails broke off. Multiple nails broke all in the same week. My thumb nail even peeled layers off down into the quick. My nails are now weak and cut as short as possible to try to hide the damage. I thought paying more I would get a product that actually helped my nails grow or at the very least didn’t damage them….but I might as well have bought a bottle of wet n’ wild and applied that because the outcome seems the same….my nails which were all evenly grown out and relatively healthy are now peeling and weak. My thumb nail is going to take at least 3 weeks to grow out to the point where the damage can be clipped off. Perhaps it was something else? Either way this polish did nothing to protect my nails if something else was the culprit. People seem to have good luck with this product and it does look amazing when first applied but from my point of view my nails were relatively healthy, I used this and within a week they were broken and peeling. I’m not going to risk damaging them further and may return the item if I’m able to do that. I just can’t risk it. I read another review where a person stated the same thing but the majority of the reviews were glowing and I thought maybe it was a fluke. But the same thing happened to me. Each person is different and we all have different nails but for me this seemed to do the exact opposite of what it advertises it does. It did not strengthen or protect them, if anything it made them weaker and more brittle and prone to breaking and peeling. I’m so bummed because the polish looks so amazing on nicely manicured nails. I’ve used similar products but nothing ever made my nails look as healthy as this polish did AT FIRST. My nails are ruined and they will grow back out but I’m extremely disappointed in the product. I gave two stars because the polish looked so amazing when first applied. I would otherwise give 1 star.

I've been using this Active Glow Blueberry polish for a few weeks now and I'm genuinely impressed with how it's helped strengthen my nails. As someone who struggles with weak, brittle nails, I noticed a real difference in how sturdy they feel after regular use. The formula lives up to its claims - my nails do look healthier and have a lovely natural glow even without the polish on. I appreciate that it's vegan and made with plant-based ingredients, which was important to me when choosing a nail care product. The blueberry shade is beautiful - a perfect rosy pink that's flattering and professional-looking. Application is smooth and it wears reasonably well for a treatment polish. However, I have to dock a star for the price point. At this cost, it's definitely a splurge item rather than an everyday purchase. While the nail-strengthening benefits are real, there are more budget-friendly options that might deliver similar results. Bottom line: if you're looking for a treatment polish that actually works and don't mind paying premium prices for clean ingredients and French quality, this is worth trying. Just be prepared for sticker shock! Would I repurchase? Probably, but I'd wait for a sale.

I don’t normally take the time to review items but WOW this polish is amazing. I’m not a person that paints my nails and quite frankly I suck at it. The gel formula and light tint actually make my nails look good. It dries really fast too. The photo I posted is with ONE COAT. I prefer two for a little color. Three is a little too pink for me. I will be buying more from this brand.

Though I get monthly manicures, my nails are damaged by salon polishes. This polish restored my nails. I took it to my manicurist to use instead of the expensive polishes the salon had. My nails grew back to a healthy appearance and stopped splitting. Excellent product. It’s expensive but will last a long time. I’m going to try it as a basecoat to see if it will protect my nails from the salon polish. If not, I’ll just use it alone.

Edit, review changed from 1 star to 3- I did not like the blueberry color. Its too sheer since its a jelly-style polish, so it makes it look like your nails are stained with juice or that your nail beds are naturally very red, which is not a good look on my very pale skin tone. Im not sure if the other colors might perform better, or if you have a different skin tone, it might have a different look. 1 coat made it look like my nails were stained with something red, so i tried 2 coats and that made it look worse, so I then tried three coats and it just looked like blood was pooling under my nail beds since my skin is pale. It was just too vibrant of a color on me for how sheer it is. The formula itself isnt bad though. It dried super quickly and applied smoothly without a base coat. You dont need a top coat either which is nice. So expensive. But maybe some of the other colors would be more worth it. Customer service does seem to care about their products and how buyers feel about their purchase though. That makes me feel better about trying a different color from this brand.

This was my second purchase of the Active Shine. Normally, I do not paint my nails however I am a great fan of Manicurist and their nail care products focusing on nail health and structural improvment in general. Their Active range includes a number of different nail make up and treatment nail polishes (2 in 1), and when i first saw them them I loved the Active Shine and had to have it. My nails are not in best of shapes, to say the least, but end up looking really nice, once I apply this polish; elegant and natural. Having used it for a while, I am more than happy with it. This is an easy to use, low-maintenance nail polish that provides a lovley pearlescent look whilst acting as a nail treatment at the same time. It is applied on prepped, bare nails and there is no need for a base or a top coat. The The colour is very subtle tone of beige/nude with a subtle, radiant silver shimmer. It has a broad, fan-shaped brush of a generous size designed to fan out across the nail bed and thus enable you to cover a nail in just one or two smooth strokes. Because Active Shine is a sheer, buildable highlighter polish with a subtle finish, the larger brush size is forgiving and reduces streaks, though very narrow nails might need a little extra care to avoid getting polish on the cuticles. It dries very quickly and offers good wear for an air-dry polish, lasting for about a week, and because the color is sheer, any minor chipping is barely noticeable. It is easily removed by standard nail polish removers. I lalso love the fact that it is a vegan product and that the formula includes AHAs which gently exfoliate the nail surface and make nail ridges appear less prominently. Though not cheap, it is not too expensive either, and in my opinion this is a quality product I can fully recommend

Erano alcuni anni che cercavo uno smalto traslucido, finalmente l’ho trovato! Dopo aver consultato numerose foto e video di chi li aveva già provati, ho scelto la tonalità Blueberry. Difficile renderla in foto, anche perchè cambia in base alla luce, ma si tratta di una tonalità rosata con una punta di violetto/fucsia. Ora, leggendo le recensioni temo che alcuni non abbiano capito di cosa si tratta, questo è uno smalto traslucido modulabile. Quindi non si tratta di uno smalto dal colore coprente e intenso come gli smalti comuni, bensì di uno smalto trasparente che dona però una luce colorata. Luce colorata di cui potete modularne l’intensitá in base al numero di strati, na resterà sempre semi-trasparente e lucido! Io ero molto curiosa di vedere i vari effetti e sono arrivata a 3 strati, ma era bello anche solo con 2. Considerate che l’ho messo velocemente senza molte attenzioni, eppure vi assicuro che si stende facilmente e si uniforma bene. Inoltre si asciuga anche velocemente. Il risultato inizialmente potrebbe sembrare strano perchè non siamo abituati a questo tipo di smalto, ma ci ho fatto l’occhio praticamente subito e mi piace tantissimo! Ora lo indosso da 4 giorni, ed è ancora lucido, senza scheggiature. Le mani assumono subito un aspetto più curato ed elegante, pur rimanendo in qualche modo abbastanza naturali. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi desidera uno smalto facile da stendere e che non risulti troppo invadente, ma che dia comunque subito un aspetto più curato. Mi dispiace che non è stato possibile caricare il video, ma spero di aver reso l’idea con le foto. Ricordate, è traslucido modulabile, no coprente! Proverò sicuramente altro di questo brand.
