Great for handguns! I purchased several magnets to hang my handguns. These were hands-down THE BEST! Expensive, but if you have the funds, this is the way to go! The rubber protection will not scratch your guns!

The magnet itself works great. The problem is the stickiness of the tape they give you to hold it hold sucks so bad. It wouldn't hold anything more a less my firearm

Nice strong magnets used on the bottom of a cooler to put on a tractor fender. It’s convenient to have a cold drink out in the field.

Bought these for my gunsafe to stick a handgun to the wall. Magnets are very strong. The adhesive strips have zero shot of keeping these magnets on any walls when running a full metal gun like a 1911. Ended up epoxying these magnets to the inside of the safe.

These will not hold an Sig Sauer p220 fully loaded at 2.3 lbs. but holds the Glock 43 well. I think I prefer the cradle for all around support with different handguns. They would be fine on the gun safe door for storage. Useful for a stationary setting. The magnets are not secured on to the plate they attach to which cause them to pull off while staying on the firearm. Definitely can not take these as serious firearms mounting.
