This is perfect. I was running out of space on my gaming laptop as my daughter downloaded the Sims 4. This external drive has meant I can move all the Sims files to it and free up space. The drive operates perfectly, there is no delay. Easy to install, backup's everything perfectly. The cable is maybe a little short but it was recognised instantly by laptop and I've had no issues. Great price as well.

I bought this external drive for my laptop last month and so far, it has been completely faultless. It’s literally just plug and play, and it provides you with just over 930GB of storage. For the price, it is absolutely worth the money and I would recommend to anyone who may be in the market for one of these devices. This is probably the best you can get for your money!

Unfortunately, this drive did not work for me. I wanted to back up over 300GB data and, about 8GB into the process, the drive froze and I could not "eject" it. I rebooted and reconnected to try again and got the message "G: is not accessible". The request failed due to a fatal drive hardware error". I chose not to return it for refund as, if it is possible to rescue the drive (I tried reformatting without luck), there is 8GB of my personal data backup up (letters, financial/bank stuff, etc - nothing dodgy - but I can't take the risk of such data being "somewhere out there!").

Seems okay. Nice size. Easy to use.
