Affordable and comfortable peace of mind
This hydration pack was purchased to replace an identical unit that I retired after 18 long hard months of 60-70 miles run per week in anything from negative windchill, ice, snow, rain, thunderstorms and the opposite end past 100-degree heat waves. You will notice that I have made some modifications, those are not shortcomings of the hydration pack, it's things I have learned along the way, like adding the extra reflectors, the blinking LED lights, etc. The cell phone holster is a brand new addition, so far it works great and it means not having to take the pack down just to grab my phone (and it means not carrying the weight of my phone on my jacket, pants or a Flip belt). Also notice that I have taped all of the loose straps, it's something I learned back in my US Army days.I usually fill the bladder to full capacity, and I carry a slim wallet and keys on one of the waist pockets, energy gels on the other waist pocket. The bladder did not have the usual nasty chemical smell/taste, but I still followed their advice and washed it with mild soap, so far I can't taste anything. So far I have put about 60 miles into it, 11-12 miles per run with zero discomfort. I also carry some basic first aid stuff and spare headphones and headlamp. What I don't like about it: I wish I could move the straps so the pack sits lower on my back, but it's not a deal breaker, and at this price point I am not really worried about it.Would I buy another one? Absolutely. If you are curious:Cell phone holster: https://amzn.to/2QFTa2VBlinking LED lights: https://amzn.to/2Qy82QQUpdate: 6/14/2020 The bladder developed a leak, I contacted Mubasel directly thru Amazon and they immediately sent me a replacement BAG and bladder, instead of just the replacement bladder. Outstanding customer support.

This day pack was perfect!
Wanted a lightweight, comfortable day pack with hydration. This was perfect & really worked well for our National Park hopping vacation. It had plenty of storage, kept my water cool (i added ice to the bladder & it was still cold at the end of the day.) I was able to fit snacks, jacket, camera, first-aid kit, maps, brochures, etc. All without a problem. Would definitely recommend.

I have to admit that I was super skeptical. I used to carry the true real deal US Military Camelbak but age and abuse has taken its toll and it had finally been retired. As much as I loved that particular Camelbak...I like this more. I’ll tell you precisely why:I’ve recently started hiking often, and we all know the advantages of a hydration pack. Well this thing has some even over the real deal.1) Ability to keep water cold - genius execution. The storage pocket that houses the water bladder is lined in a reflective material. Sounds gimmicky but I’ve said for years this would make a profound difference. It does. After 8 hours with the real Camelbak (honestly well before 8 hours) your water wasn’t cold anymore. With this pack, it is. Surprisingly so.2) Insulated water tube - the Camelbak had this too, but the one here on this pack seems to stay in place better. It’s hugely effective too.3) Cleaning snake - seems like a small thing but the little water tube cleaning snake is nice to have. It’s handy.4) It doesn’t leak at all - my Camelbak had been through hell and I’d changed bite valves a few times. The locking system on this pack is a bit better and easier to execute operation on the move.5) Storage - it has about the same amount of storage as my OG Camelbak with the execution of the bottom. There is some bottom side straps that Camelbak didn’t utilize and this pack does. It does help secure the pack when running and they even have zip pouches. Very nice!6) Waterproofing- this pack is mostly water proof which is impressive for the cost. Got caught in a torrential downpour and the contents of my pack was about 95% dry so no complaints. However this is where the Camelbak has a leg up. I’ve never had water infiltration on that pack ever.7) Straps - the shoulder straps are easy to adjust and are quite comfortable. Utilization of D rings makes it easy to attach other gear such as a vacuum insulated carabiner kid water bottle for extra capacity. I only wish that they had used metal D rings for the pack instead of plastic. I may modify this part myself. But they haven’t broken yet. If you’re doing serious hiking or other things you know the importance of a pack being modular. Nicely done.8) Overall quality - the quality overall far surpasses the selling price. Again, I was skeptical but overly satisfied with what I’ve gotten. In summary I’d say this pack is an enormous value compared to the Camelbak counterparts. Sure, if you’re doing some serious white water or deployment things I would maybe say either modify a few portions of this pack or buy the Camelbak. But for the casual or even more hardcore hiker, this is all you’ll ever need.

Great features and quality for the price
Out of the box, this is great! Everything arrived bagged in plastic, clean and tidy. Obviously, I rinsed the water bladder, (remove the thin foam pad in there) and hose. Pros I like: large opening for water and ice can easily be added. Bag has reflective inside for insulation. Tubing has its own neoprene sleeve, for insulation. Tubing clicks into place, on the bladder, so you "know" you connected it correctly. There's a dust cover on the bite style valve. And it's tethered. No leaks so far. This appropriate size for kids age 8/10 and older. And adults. I'm 5'3 and it's a small back back pack on me. Exactly what I wanted. Main pocket holds the water bladder. Then another pocket has 2 smaller pockets so your stuff is organized. All zippers are sturdy, smooth and strong. Side pockets, chest strap is adjustable in the vertical direction as well. These are nice touches, I would expect to pay more for. I will come back to edit, if I found any cons, or issues. October Update: Used for 4-5 outdoor, summer heat activities. It held up great, and kept water cool all day - no leaks. slight plastic flavor came thru on first or second use, from the tubing, I suspect. Still keeps 5 stars. Extremely pleased with this purchase, for under $40. It is superior to my friends more expensive brands version of water in your backpack. So much more stable vs. bottles on your back.

Comfortable
This has been great and it is working for me. Water pack has large opening so it’s easy to clean and dry. Good amount of pockets too.
