Works perfectly with GH6
This Neewer D-tap to DMW-BLK22 dummy battery works as described. The cable is extra long which is nice. Even though there is a pass-through hole/plug on the GH6 (and GH7) there is no way to get the cable through the hole so you must leave the battery door open (The GH5 has a notch on side for cord so you can close battery door). I have other dummy batteries (Not D-tap) that you can separate the dummy battery from the cord and that end will fit through the hole in the battery door and you can close the door. Would be nice if this Neewer one did the same thing. Not a deal breaker though since camera is always in a cage having the door open is a non-issue. I have trust in Neewer products and this is a good choice in a D-tap dummy battery.

DTap adapter for GH Series cameras
The media could not be loaded. Saying this has a long cable is an understatement. My previous DMW-BLK22 dummy battery had a short cord. Even though I used it sparingly—just like this one—it always felt like it was under unnecessary tension. This one is way better. It allows me to keep the battery farther from the camera, and more importantly, lower when I'm running with a monopod (something I do a lot during the summer). That lower center of gravity helps me stay better balanced.Right now, it’s just nice not to have any tension on the power cable while filming podcasts. This setup isn’t permanent—soon I’ll be back on the road with my 3-camera kit, which will be awesome. It means I’ll finally be able to take on more gigs, instead of having my cameras trapped in one room.Once again, Neewer drops something that just makes sense. When it comes to cables, longer is better—and this generously sized cord gives me much more flexibility when it comes to mounting. The build quality is solid, too—feels sturdier than some of my dummy batteries. As you saw in the first part of the video, this was my first time using it, and it worked straight out of the box. Great design, great price, and a surprising amount of extra functionality. If you do any run-and-gun shooting with your GH-series Panasonic camera (mine are GH5s, and I can confirm this works perfectly), you’ll love that this includes a D-Tap. That alone makes it compatible with all of my V-Mount batteries, since most of them don’t support the V9 adapter—but they do have D-Tap.So yeah—this one’s a winner. easy to use on all V-Mounts (unless they do not have the D-Tap of course)

Works with GH5 II.
This dummy battery works with my GH5II, and has the proper design that allows the cable to exit the notch on the camera. As far as downsides, I think the cabling material could be more flexible. However, the dtap connector and cable at the dummy battery end have strain relief.Overall, it’s a functional dummy battery and works fine with my GH5II, but the stiff cable could definitely be improved.

Well made Dummy Battery with cable to connect to D tap connector external battery
This cable is compatible with a number of Panasonic Lumix cameras. It acts as a ‘dummy battery’ with a cable to connect to a large external battery with a D Tap connector. I inserted the dummy battery into a Lumix GH7 camera and found that it fit perfectly and worked satisfactorily, with no error messages from the camera. I used a Neewer 6800 mAh (99Wh) for an external battery with a D tap connector. The cable fits snuggly to the D tap connector on the external battery and will not fall out without the user pulling it firmly out. This setup allows the user to shoot videos on a tripod for extended periods in the field or studio. The only drawback to this setup is that for the Lumix GH7, you have to leave the battery door open. The door has a round opening without a slot to the edge, so the dummy battery cannot be inserted with the door closed. As you will likely be operating on a tripod, this doesn’t seem to be a major problem. The advantage of having extended battery capacity using this dummy battery with the external battery far outweighs the minor annoyance of leaving the battery door open on the GH7 camera. Many other compatible Lumix cameras have a battery door that allows a cable to be inserted with the door closed, so they do not have that issue.

Works Great!!
I've tried a few d-tap dummy battery solutions from other brands and the other blue one that I have is quite long a bulky which isn't great for compact setups. This one is smaller and is one piece, so I don't have to fiddle with an extra cable, which makes this great for smaller camera rigs, the coiled cable prevents any excess cable from flopping around which helps with tidiness. On the battery end it's shorter than normal and the cable is recessed which means you can easily position it through a cable flap on the battery door with ease and because of the particular design I can easily see it working with any camera that takes this battery which I know was an issue with other dummy batteries as some didn't fit with the new flap placement on the s5ii and s5iix. Overall, it's great and if you're looking for a compact dummy battery solution with a d-tap for smaller camera rigs this is one you should be looking at.

Perfect D Tap for the S1RII
When you've got a camera you're doing constant video with, it's required to have a dummy d-tap battery. When it comes to the Neewer DMW-BLK22 you get just that. The dummy battery does exactly what it's supposed to do, connects to the S1IIR then to the V-Mount and it's all set to go for hours of video recording. It feels cheap but so do all my other dummy batteries, the purpose is to power them from outside the camera, which is exactly what it does. It's pretty small and easy to pack away when having to do on-location shoots. For the price, it's about what I've paid for other dummy batteries. If you've got a higher-end Lumix camera (S1RII, S5II, S5IIX, GH5, GH6, GH7), this is the D-Tap dummy batter that'll work for you.Overall, if you do on-location video shoots with any of your higher-end Lumix cameras, the Neewer DMW-BLK22 D Tap is the Dummy Battery for you.
