(don't stand on them! they cost near enough €100 to replace) purchase a guard for the cable, you can buy white flexible wind on cable protector for them wind it on and it'll afford some protection when stood on accidentally if you don't find wind on cable protector in your search try cable tidy.

MY son is quite happy with it as the original one was all out of kink and no longer functioning properly.Time will tell how long this one will last but at least good for awhile (not listening to him complain about it is a huge bonus).

My HTC Vive started to have 'double vision' and I was really worried the headset was broken. In the end I swapped out these cables and it fixed the problem instantly. Apparently the cables 'go' fairly regularly, so this is an affordable and effective solution. Well worth the purchase price.
