Clean, smooth cut, no heat cuts fast.
Some times something makes a big difference. This blade is so much better than a standard fiber blade the only thing it makes a higher pitch noise. But it cuts so smooth no burrs and the cut stays cool. Blade stays the same size. Less mess.

Cutting Mild Steel like Buttah!
I’ve used a variety of blades for mild steel over the years, and this one definitely falls on the more refined end. The EVOMAX14ST feels purpose-built for what it claims—precision dry cutting in ferrous metals. Paired with a compatible saw (I tested it on an S355MCS), it produced impressively clean cuts right from the start. Burrs were minimal and edge discoloration was nearly non-existent, even with slightly thicker wall tubing. The Cermet teeth are supposed to give longer life, and while I can’t verify the full 3,500 cuts yet, I’ve already gone through several dozen without noticing any major dulling or changes in cut quality. I mostly ran it on square tube and light angle iron, and it didn’t complain or bog down.Noise levels were lower than expected, and there was no noticeable sparking, which I assume is due to the nature of the tooth design. The blade tracks well and doesn’t walk or chatter when clamped properly, which is important if you’re trying to maintain square cuts on repeat jobs. It’s not magic—it still needs proper feed rate and care—but the material removal is smooth and consistent. It is noticeably heavier than some other 14" blades, which might be a factor for people frequently swapping tooling or operating more compact saws. The tooth count makes it more suited for clean precision than high-speed production, so it depends on what you prioritize. For me, it worked best when I took my time, and the payoff was a cut that required almost no cleanup. This blade isn’t cheap, and it probably won’t be the first choice for someone looking to chew through rusty scrap steel in a hurry. But if you’re cutting clean material and want consistency, it’s a solid choice. Just make sure you’re using a saw that can handle the tooth count and feed smoothly—if your machine is underpowered, it may not show the blade at its best.Overall, it’s well made, performs as advertised, and is best suited for someone who values clean, precise cuts and plans to use it regularly under decent shop conditions. If that’s you, this blade will likely hold up well and deliver repeatable results.

Great blade for Aluminum!
GREAT blade, remember to match up the materials you are cutting to the capabilities of the blade on any of the metal cutting blades but, do that, and you'll have the best cutting experience out there!

Good blade
Cuts smoothly through mild steel angle without leaving burs or causing heat like abrasive blades does. Well worth the money if you cut a lot of metal.

Possible defect
Cut about (10) sticks of 2x2x3/16 tubing with this blade and it worked great until it came apart, definitely going back to the old style bladesI’m using this blade in an evolution mitering cold cut saw

Cuts like butter
I don't believe the hype of # of cuts. I've had horrible luck with other blades. I'd be happy with only a fraction of cuts they that they claim.

Fast, precise cuts
It makes so much difference to use this instead of angle grinder.I've been making a lot of jigs and attachments to my machinery in cabinet shop and a lot of it's functionality depends on clear and straight cuts, which was hard for me to accomplish with corner ruler and angle grinder. This blade is big enough to cut through big steel tubing and as far as I can tell it does a great job. My miter saw originally came with big abrasive cut-off blade, but this is so much better. I have no way to tell if it will last 3.5K cuts, since it will take me a long time to make that many cuts, but even if it lasts only half of that it will be a great value for me. Highly recommended for any metal fabricator.
