Great ice maker for the price.
This ice maker is fast! Takes about 5 minutes to get 9 cubes. This is great for cooling down drinks after a long run or having ice ready on demand. Very easy to set up and use, all you need to do is add water and plug it in. Fits nicely on my countertop. The small size is also convenient for moving it outside for outdoor functions during the hot summer months. Functions better than described. Ice tastes like ice. Has lasted me almost a year to date with moderate use.

Smelled like mineral oils.
Unit came absolutely drenched in oil, which smelled like mineral oils. I tried washing it out 4-5x. It still reeked.Then I said "whatever ill chalk this up as a loss, maybe get a replacement, lets see if it at least makes ice good"It made 1 cube in 30 minutes....Yes you read that correct....Maybe an isolated incident, however it turned us off entirely on this brand.Ice capacity seems decent, easy to use, easy to clean if it dont come soaked in oils, ice production is seemingly on par with others around this $ amount.Maybe it was a one off, but we went with something else.

Fits my needs perfectly
I’m happy with this purchase. Super easy to use. Ice will melt a little, but only if left in there for quite a long time without using.

It started out great-- made some nice crunchy ice and would fill up quickly. However despite the fact that we cleaned this machine exactly as described in the manual it still turned rusty/orange and constantly needed cleaning after every water refill. Eventually the rotator inside the top stopped turning and no longer would make the ice. We ended up using different types of water to see if that was causing the issues but with tap, distilled, spring, etc it still remained dirty all inside the lid and water reservoir constantly. The rusty/orange drainage was coming out of the machine and draining into the water/ice.
