Garden Timber Decking Non Slip (Anti Slip) Paint (5 Litre, Black)

I liked the colour when it was done, The decking was painted in September '20 by a professional painter now we're in February 21 and there is hardly any of it left on my decking it started to peel almost within a couple of weeks, for what I paid for this paint I thought it would last, there is only myself and my husband walking on it ,complete waste of money plus what I paid the painter ,Il have to get it done again, Il stick to the well known makes which are almost half the price I paid for this rubbish.

Excellent product. I've used it on our new decking and not only is it definitely anti-slip it's also a great colour. Easy to put on and goes a long way. We're very pleased with the results and would recommend.

We have not long painted our decking with this paint. We used 2 coats of this paint to ensure good cover. Cant speak at this time for durability. It was good to use went on easily. It is a lovely shade of grey & has been admired.June 2021 I am updating this review as when decking was painted with 2 coats looked fantastic, lovely colour, non slip. Less than a year on and what a state the decking is in. The paint is peeling off and looks terrible, really disappointed as after reading reviews and thinking paying more than I had wanted I was buying the right paint. It is going to take a lot of work to correct this mess which will cost a lot of time, effort and money, before we can even think about a repaint job. REALLY MAD AND DISAPPOINTED. Hence me changing stars and amending my review.

It took sometime to find a paint and not a stain for my inherited decking, I don’t like decking but until I can replace it, had to freshen it up. Found that due to COVID, the colour options for decking paint was very limited, so opted for battleship grey, couldn’t find anything lighter. Received the consignment as instructed, but couldn’t use due to weather and other commitments. Ive now finished applying two coats to my decking.The paint has a very strong smell so wouldn’t open indoorsThe consistency is like gloss and drips everywhere so be mindful if you have to paint edges and cut in before the main areaI wouldn’t say it goes very far if I’m honest, had to apply sparingly to ensure I had enough, bought 2 x 5L tinsI didn’t use good brushes or rollers when applying, would have been ruined, and difficult to cleanAlthough the result looks OK, I need to see how long it lasts before I can give a more definitive review hence two stars across the board.I am seriously hoping it lasts more than 2 years… fingers crossed.

Two coats does a great job! Very durable and looks great. Before using this, wet decking was like a skating rink. Really goes fantastic with our dark grey Rattan Garden Furniture.
